    Love it love it love it. After dealing with a refrigerator that did not cool and only made ice when it felt like it, this was a terrific buy. I feel the price was a good value and their people that delivered it were awesome. No bangs or dents anywhere and they had to bring it up a staircase with a slight curve. They wore their masks and were very customer service oriented

    With both this LG refrigerator and a Maytag washer that we purchased from Best Buy, we added the 3 year Geek Squad Protection plan. The selling point for me is the fact that if we have a problem that requires service once we are out of the 1 year factory warranty, we don't have to go thru the manufacturers, which can sometimes result in delays, etc. Instead, the Best Buy Geek Squad will take care of any problems we encounter. Well worth it, in my opinion.

    Had plan on new refrigerator. Had four service calls over three years on ice maker. After last call Geek Squad tech recommended replacing fridge. He completed all details and told us how to exchange. Got same style fridge for same price(on sale). Even got prorated refund on old protection plan. New fridge, installation and new protection plan cost less than $150.

    Will never buy anything from Best Buy without Geek Squad protection. Not because we don't trust things from Best Buy but because if something goes wrong the value is too good to pass up. Best Buy does take care of its Geek Squad customers.

    Perfect refrigerator for my 91 year old mother. The adjustable shelves and freezer options allow her limited mobility access.

    NEEDED GEEK SQUAD FOR HEPING ME TO HOOK UP 75 IN TV AFTER MOVING IN. THE GENTLEMAN WAS GREAT, FIXED TV TO OPERATE BETTER ON REMOTE. HOOKED UP SPEAKERS TO COME ON WHEN TV COMES ON. THAT WAS A BIG IMPROVEMENT.

    Since there’s over a 60% chance that the ice/water dispenser will need servicing, this appeared to be a good deal. We’ll see - I don’t have kids using it and live alone…

    Geek Squad protection is a life saver when there's an item a warranty doesn't cover, or more importantly when you've gone past the manufacturing warranty and have a problem that leaves you in Limbo. I've had to utilize my GSP plan a few times for different items, and if I hadn't I would have been looking at full price replacements--that's a big win for expensive gear.

    The geek squad guy worked very hard to solve my problem with my refrigerator. When determined it could not be solved stayed right on it to get me a new refrigerator replacement.

    The delivery guys were amazing and did a great job bringing the whole thing up to the third floor. Give them a raise man.

    So I bought a GE French Door Refrigerator from Best Buy August 2022. The unit was delivered October 2022. The unit stopped working March of 2023. I called Best Buy and was directed to contact GE for service. A technician diagnoses the issue as a bad compressor and ordered and installed a new compressor. The unit stopped cooling again September 2023. Called GE again and a tech was dispatched to repair the unit again. The unit stopped cooling again - January 2024. Called Best Buy who dispatched a tech on Thursday, January 11th. The tech diagnosed it again as a closed system cooling issue that he wasn't qualified to repair. A new company was dispatched for an appointment on January 16th. I received a call on January 15th that they too were not qualified to repair closed cooling systems. I called Best Buy again asking for a new replacement machine for this clearly bad unit. I was told that dispatch was looking for a qualified technician to fix the GE refrigerator. An appointment was scheduled for Monday, January 22nd. The same GE technician from the first visit came to the house and diagnosed the problem as a bad compressor AGAIN and ordered several new parts including a new compressor. This unit is 15 months old and has broken 3 times in 10 months. Each system failure has caused all the food in the refrigerator to spoil. I have repeatedly asked for a new unit. Today I was told that the "lemon" provision of my warranty is only good after the 3rd breakdown under the extended warranty. Since the first 2 breakdowns were under the factory warranty THEY DONT COUNT! BEWARE OF Best Buy and their geek squad extended warranties. They are clearly a waste of money. I spent $2500 on a refrigerator that has cost us hundreds of dollars is spoiled food and now we have no kitchen refrigerator for a month. Do not shop at Best Buy. They clearly dont care about their customers.
