I haven't had a chance to use the service agreement but if I do it's there very happy with my purchase

I am not computer savvy. For years I have relied on the Geek Squad to keep my computer working properly. I some times try to fix something on my computer but when I can't I know that the Geek Squad can.

Before I purchased my new LG refrigerator on 6/15/25, I spoke with a Best Buy customer service agent who assured me that, if I purchased a 5-year GS protection plan and something happened during the manufacturer's 1-year warranty period, GS would send out the repairman, who would make any necessary repairs and then deal with LG on my behalf. I had asked about this specifically because I had read several reviews about LG refrigerator compressors going out early and that the LG warranty service was horrible. My refrigerator has started making a loud noise, and GS tells me that I must go through LG and that they will not service the refrigerator until the LG warranty expires. Either Best Buy has trained their employees to misrepresent the terms of the protection, or their employees have not received correct training. Be warned!

Adding extended warranty to any appliances is always a good idea especially through best buy. We hope nothing breaks down on our chest freezer we bought but having the warranty will help us if something goes wrong. After all nothing is guaranteed to last as anything anyone buys.

Love this fridge so far - it is set up to easily attange shelves as needed and organize contents clearly and easily. Keeps everything at proper temps too

Geek squad is always a safe bet and highly recommend it. They are dependable and respond quickly.. I have always had great service.

Have not used this product yet, and hope not to use it. I have used the same company for other items and never had any trouble with claims.

Not worth the risk of not adding on an extended warranty. Too early to tell if it is a quality service.

Love my refrigerator. I had been wanting a refrigerator like this one. I am very happy Citie Bank gave me the opportunity to own one. Everyone that visits and sees my refrigerator falls in love with it. Once I have pd off the refrigerator, I will try to buy a stove through Best Buy.

This is an excellent option to buy peace of mind at a reasonable cost. The terms offered are very attractive. I was able to buy a lower cost product along with this extra warranty, which in my opinion gave an equivalent value as compared to a higher priced product and I saved a lot of money. I strongly recommend that one should go for the additional warranty offered.

Great protection plan. Thankfully we have not had to use it after 1 year so far.

The crew installed my fridge and I just love it. I purchased the 3 year warranty just in case there was an issue.

The service is good. Its that you even have to buy it cuz you cant trust in the product

I normally don't buy protection plans. My last refrigerator lasted for over 20 years with no major problems. This time I did because it was cheap and comprehensive. Hope I never have to use it but you really never know. At least I don't have to worry about it now. Peace of mind is golden.

In addition to the manufacturer warranty, this is worth it! Saves you the worry (and money) should something happen to your appliance.

I've had this Samsung fridge for 4 1/2 days, paid for a 3 yr. extended warranty and there are now problems with the freezer. I went on the Geek "Help Chat" and the geek told me that a repair visit would start at $99. I then called the Geek Squad and was told to call Samsung myself. I certainly could have spent the $200 extra warranty money on something worthwhile, because this isn't.
