I purchased geek squad protection for all my products I purchased. I was recently disappointed when my dishwasher stopped working and I called to set up a service apt. There was no one on the geek squad team that could service my product. I don't see a point in paying for a protection/service plan if they don't have technicians on their team to service the products.

This protection is always a good choice because it extends the warranty given by the manufacturer and we think it’s a good value or insurance.

Paid for the service, but technician had to refer to out side agents to install water line. They did a good job can’t complain

We signed up for the warranty and hope to never use it. We shopped around and Best Buy had the best service package for the best price. They actually use their own "Geek Squad" versus many others that contract out. Fingers crossed.

Great purchase. I have not had to use it, but gives peace of mind.

I have used the Geek Squad service many times for various things. I have always been satisfied with the professional service, knowledge and resolution of what I'm there for. I will always take advantage of the Geek Squad service.

Works great! Perfect second midsize fridge for my family

We had some trouble with my dryer, and had no idea what it was. Turns out it was a piece of clothing stuck, but luckily we had bought the protection plan to help in case we ever needed it. Saves on calling others to service appliance.

I had problems reverting what looked like negatives on all my pictures and computer, spoke to Geek Squad and went remote ! He was fast and very knowledgeable !

We’re happy to have a warranty in case something should go wrong.

With all electronics getting more complicated and expensive it is nice to have peace of mind that any issues will be handled competently.

Good deal on 3 year Geek protection plan. You never know when you might need a repairman and 3 years for no cost to you with this plan

We purchased a $3000 Geek Squad Protection Plan for a refrigerator. When our $3000 refrigerator failed after less than a year of use, BestBuy tried to decline service in lieu of recommending the manufacturer's warranty. I indicated I would file a small claims case, and they found an appointment for me. BestBuy was unable to fix the fridge on the first visit, indicating they would be back in a week to finish the work. However, a few hours before the appointment, the service technician called to indicate that all the parts had not arrived. He didn't know when they would arrive. (Incidentally, they shipped them to me without notifying me.) I called support and was told the parts were estimated to arrive in a month. While I had taken time off work to meet the tech, BestBuy knew the appointment would not be honored without notifying me. BestBuy also expected a family of five to go without a working fridge for 6 weeks. I asked for a replacement fridge. They declined. The Geek Squad protection was a waste of money and time.

As we all appliances these days it seems "efficiency" trumps "longevity". So having a little extra peace of mind for larger purchases is worth it. The benefits provided in Best Buy's protection plan are best in class.

Would be good for the garage or basement, been having problems with climate control, very cheap parts, I looking for a different refrigerator unfortunately I still owe on this one, but I am constantly having to replace everything in the fridge/freezer cause the freezer freezes and the fridge doesn't stay cold.

Geek squad service is a mist qoth them. Always comes through and always going above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Completely satisifed.

We purchased this warranty in case something happens with the freezer and we were to lose the food that is stored in there. Great value for what it covers!
