Fridge works perfectly and has a very quiet compressor. Smart things app can notify you if the door didn’t close all the way.

After several unsuccessful trips from an "expert" refrigerator repair service with no fix and $$$ food ruined $$$, I ended up buying a new GE from Best Buy and did not hesitate to buy the 5-Year Geek Squad Protection Plan!!! In addition to great coverage for the refrigerator, it gives up to $200 for ruined food. No stress. Amen!!!

This protection includes coverage for lost food, which our home warranty did not cover.

Warranty is good to have on all appliances just in case your appliances malfunction.

I can't really say on this particular purchase because they forgot to put our refrigerator on the truck! We'd been waiting about 7-8 weeks and had been living out of an ice chest for 3. Needless to say, we bought a much nicer refrigerator from a different store.

Geek Squad standard protection is a must have. I haven’t had to use it yet with my new ‘ ‘fridge, but the professionalism and expertise with other purchases make me want to recommend the Geek Squad.

within 1 year of purchase, my GE freezer is constantly running extremely loud. Today the squad came out for a 3rd time, but still they don't have the correct parts ordered from "GE", and now scheduled for a 4th appointment. UNREAL!!!! Oh yes, and the window is always 7am-7pm -

I've leveraged Geek Squad 3 yr protection on multiple appliances. Unfortunately, it just seems that the Manufacturing of units isn't what it use to be and as such the need for peace of mind for a big purchase to not have issues is worth the cost.
