    Last people who installed our refrigerator were AMAZING! Watch them Best Buy needs to make sure hire the right people we had really BAD experience with people installing our refrigerator. We had to almost change the same refrigerator 4 times because of their neglect installers. They even damaged our wooden floors. It was really a nightmare but Best Buy stepped up and made right! Such a good relief. Btw our refrigerator is the best, we loved it!

    Never buy an appliance without GSP

    I will never buy another appliance without GSP because most appliances will not last 3+ years - like it or not, thats the state of the things today. We have also tried Assurion thru Home Depot and GSP is 100x better - the phone service is easier to use, the technicians seem to be more knowledgeable and easier to work with. One time, Assurion sent a "technician" that did such a sloppy job with reassembly that we had to have a 2nd appointment to fix their issues.

    Bought the store brand Insignia 20.5 cu ft fridge in stainless steel and within a year the shelves started breaking. Spent 3 days attempting to remedy situation through extended 5 year warranty purchased. Was told damage is difficult to prove or disprove and that an appt to have a technician come out to my house would be necessary to determine if shelf was indeed broken and whether it could be fixed or needed replaced. I had brought the broken Insignia refrigerator shelf in to the store with me. I asked if he was saying the only course of action I had was to take the broken shelf back to my house, try to reinstall it and then schedule an appt with a tech to come to my house to make the determination that it was broken and he said that my understanding was correct. He said it was corporate policy which he had no hand in creating but must abide by . I asked where the "fix it" techs work out of. He said the stores but there was no way for customers or fellow employees to contact them when in store and directed me to contact their main 'help" line. Since I had already spent 2 days trying to get help through the online chat function which led me to be told to bring the shelf into a store to get service only to be told by this Geek Squad employee that their helpline employees were incorrect and now on day 3 of trying to get a workable fridge main shelf I needed to go call the helpline again. I told him I was reluctant to do so as I was already 3 days in and the helpline had sent me to him and he was trying to send me back. I asked for contact information so I could discuss my experience and how their corporate policy effected me and he again gave me the help line telephone number and said that there were no addresses or emails that customers could access or be given, that it was corporate policy that he had no control over because he just worked there. Why even bother? With poor quality products and poor design backed up by the Geek Squad who refuses service and employees who simply can't or won't be autonomous or attempt to actually remedy a situation, why even bother? Spend your money elsewhere, somewhere you and your money is valued and appreciated.

    Purchased Geek Squad protection then needed service . It was eazy to set up then fixed. Then a problem arose extensive work done. After repairs it failed twice more for same problem and repaired. I couldn't get a replacement even due to same problem multiple times. So I would of given them 5 stars if they stood behind their replacement policy.

    I highly recommend purchasing the Geek Squad 5-year insurance plan for any appliance. We bought this with a refrigerator 4-1/2 years ago. Had recurring issues with the ice maker and since parts could not be acquired to repair it, we received 100% of the purchase price for the refrigerator to put toward a new replacement. Be advised that Geek Squad has up to 30 days to deliver parts, so repairs can take a while if parts are not readily available. Geek Squad dispatch team was easy to contact and nice to work with. They explained everything and assured me that if I was in a "no cool" condition that they would have activated coverage more quickly.

    Service is fast however not sure they are really up on appliance repair,they were here 3 times to fix the door on me refrigerator and it still isnt fixed.

    The delivery people handle the fridge with extreme care. I thought it would be a problem but they made it look easy. Not one scratch or dent.

    Peace of mind !I have used Geek squad many times in the past. A1 in my book! They also installed my T. V. & once helped me with my computer. Great all around service.

    The Best Buy Protection is worth every penny

    I purchased a new refrigerator with the 3 year protection. When the refrigerator arrived the delivery men unwrapped it outside and checked for damage. The water dispenser was hanging off the door, wires showing. They apologized and reordered a new one right away. I always have great delivery service. I purchase the protection on all my appliances and electronics. I had a washer replaced with a new one that stopped working. We've had several items replaced with the protection so I highly recommend purchasing this extra.

    This refrigerator, so far has been great, and much better than the Whirlpool that failed me again. LG has successfully addressed the compressor problems which is the reason I purchased it. It's quiet and spacious - well laid out interior.
