I can't recommend Geek Squad Warranties (or TotalTech) on large appliances. Their scheduling is a mess. First, they try setting up an appointment for a Geek Squad employee to come on Tuesday. They're supposed to call on Monday to set up a time window. They never called and never showed. So I called back on Wednesday and now they scheduled it with a third-party company. When I say "schedule", that just means Geek Squad sends them a request. The schedule is actually up to the other company, but they called to work out the real schedule. When the third party company arrives, they tell me they don't work with Geek Squad warranty. Geek Squad needs to send one of their own technicians, not from a third party company. When I call Geek Squad back and tell them the whole story, they just try scheduling with the third party company again. Round and round we go. Ask for a supervisor; sometimes that helps.

HI have taken the 5 year geek squad protection for the new items i have purchased from the bestbuy as their technical support is very good.

I love this fridge... I think I got a pretty good deal on this. Wished the freezer section was a little bigger other than that it's perfect

Buying a 5 years of wrantee for the Fridge, is buying the peace of mind for five years, especially when it's with Best Buy Geek Squad

Geek squad is really very geeky. Must for big ticket items as they cover all kinds of issues.

Good service assuming you follow-up with them to keep their appointment. Knowledgable but need to work on honoring their appointment timings.
