I’m giving this 5 stars not because I’ve had to use it already, simply because I have used these enough in the past and I swear by them. I have never had an issue with the geek squad.

The initial installers forgot to set up my dryer to the vent but the bell squad came and saved the day.

With Geek Squad you get a peace of mind. I don't have to worry about going anywhere else for repairs. Geek Squad will take care of it.

Haven't had to use it yet for our TV but worth it for peace of mind.

It had been many years since I shopped at Best Buy. And I’m old enough to remember when Geek Squad was established. So, I was surprised to learn Geek Squad also managed deliveries and warranties. I always thought they just fixed computers! We felt our hands twisted a bit into purchasing a warranty. The product we purchased only offered a 1 year warranty. That’s another review for Samsung. We purchased the 3 year warranty for $89.99. We can’t rate the warranty itself as we have experienced a need to put it to use yet. If we do we will come back and write some more information. We did have the experience of speaking with a Geek Squad customer service associate over the phone though. The associate polite, well mannered, knowledgable and efficient. We were only on the phone for 1 minute and 30 seconds. :)

This protection is very good to have in a case of an emergency parent or for a costly repairs that it is covered under warranty this is your best bet to ensure that whatever you purchase is covered. Just like a car you need insurance.

The Geek Squad coverage is the best in the business and the only one I truly trust to follow through on what is promised. I add it to all of my major purchases and it has come through in the clutch on many occasions.

I have had to use this warranty in the past unfortunally I live in a very rural town so that a lot of the time they are unable to send a tech to me but have never had an issue they usually refund me back what I paid for the original unit and I go back to them to get a new one easy and good customer service

I have not had to use the geek squad protection yet, as my brand new washer and dryer were just delivered last week. And I chose to pay for the 5-year plan. That may have been overzealous and perhaps unnecessary considering I went with a top brand (Maytag/Whirlpool) but after such a poor experience with my Samsung washer and dryer and how quickly they broke down for being brand new units, I just wanted the Peace of mind. Hopefully I'll never have to call them

Love the GS membership as we are avid Best Buy fans and buy all of our electronics here. They were great upgrading our computers.

Let me start by saying always by the warranty. We bought a new in box Samsung washer and dryer. Got it home, they installed it, programmed it etc etc. 2 days later the washer stopped working. Followed all the instructions, online in the book, even the chat for Samsung. Called Samsung, they gave us the run around for a few hours. Forgot we bought the warranty. Called them right up, the replaced it, never even asked why, they replaced it the next day. It's always important to buy a warranty, especially today where everything has a million electronics. It's not the old days with the top loading washers and 4 parts..

I hope I don't need to use Geek Squad for my purchase. If I do need to use them, I know I'm in good hands.

Had a problem with my first washing machine we bought and Best Buy stepped right up with my warranty and delivered a new one hooked it up and all is good.

Another warrant, another protection plan. Difficult to rate, because I haven't used it for this purchase. Others, have resulted in a positive experience.

Love this Maytag Washer/Dryer set!!! It is absolutely Gorgeous. It is more quite than most Washer/Dryer sets. These both come with commercial technology. So easy to use & even has WiFi Remote Enable thru the Maytag App. Washes & Dryes as expected. The only down side is washer is not great for short people, I am 4’10” & I have to stand on a stool to get the clothes on the very bottom out. Also, the downside on the dryer is the vent fills up extremely fast… one load & lint is overflowing when the vent is pulled out. Leaves lint down in the vent opening & I keep an extra long screwdriver handy, so I can pull the extra lint up the sides & grab ahold of it to be discarded. I would definitely recommend both of these products.
