I haven't used yet and I hope I don't need to use it but the price was affordable for 3 years extra warranty.

Product: Samsung Refrigerator Model Number: RF23J9011SR Issue: Ice Maker does not work. Best Buy outsourced the repair service to a third party service provider "Bear Services". The service technician came in initially diagnosed that it's a "Valve" issue and replaced it after about 15 days and mentioned that he had to replace the entire "Ice Maker" as replacing "Valve" did not resolve the issue. After that they never showed up although I sent them a video showing the problem. I finally called up 3 or 4 times Best Buy and they initiated a replacement request which was denied by the insurance provider stating that per "Bear Services" the problem was resolved. Best Buy confirmed that "Bear Services" never closed the "Service request" . However they believe the insurance provider who rejected the replacement request stating that the service was completed. Although I mentioned that I have the proof's of a video message that I sent to Bear Services as well as willing to do a live video of the issue, Best Buy does not take any immediate action to address my problem. It's been more than 2 months and it's unfortunate the Best Buy is not taking any immediate action but rather would like to initiate a service request again!!!!

Very nice addition to any purchase! Paying for 3 years of protection REALLY saves you money when compared to calling out a repairman!

I always get the Geek Squad protection for large appliances. It's priceless if there's a problem. Service depends on the tech you get. I only gave it a three because it is inefficient because it always requirespond two or more trips. That was maddening when my fridge failed!!!
