So, since March of '23, after realizing that they did not add the warranty back to my washer unit that they broke and had to replace, I have called numerous times and have been told that they sent the request off to a different department that will call me back and they never do. Only having to keep repeating the process for no conclusion. I even have a number to call for the person who attempted to fix my order and she will not answer my calls or call me back. All I want is my warranty added back so I don't have to deal with best buy anymore since my problem started in Feb of '22

Good things covered throughout plan, bummer that the plan doesnt rollover when getting an exchange.

Wasn't happy when I was told I would have to pay someone to come out to look at a washer and dryer that was purchased and within it's return policy. Luckily I went back to the store as the "online agents" were not willing to help.

I buy all of my electronics from best buy, and this is the first time I have had to call for service on my washer and dryer. Got up this morning and the washer wasn't working... no worries, I purchased the 5 year protection on my washer, so I'll just call for service. Simple, right? No...... Turns out geek squad is out of my service area and they are contracting out to a contractor so it's going to take an entire week to get someone out here. Going on vacation on Saturday, so they tell me to call when I get back from vacation. Whats the point of paying $250 for protection when they can't get someone out for service. Won't purchase anything from best buy that I can't carry back to the store (about 5 miles from my house).

If I could give no stars that’s what Best Buy deserves. We purchased the extended warranty for sole purpose because the department manager told us if one unit went down and was no longer available,. Best Buy would replace both. Come to find out 14 months after purchase we were lied to. Now Best Buy states they will replace only replace washer. Because our washer has been discontinued. Don’t waste your money our time with extended warranty you will regret. Also we waited over a month for this process to be handled. AND NOT ONCE DID WE EVER RECEIVE A CALL FROM BEST BUY OR GEEK SQUAD ABOUT STATUS OF OUR CLAIM

I purchase this appliance and excited to buy it at Best Buy I've purchased other things and had been pleased with my purchases this time Geek Squad sent my warranty to another place My Appliance Clinic and its been 3 months and counting to this date that I've yet to have my dryer fix. Ive made the attempts to called and yes they answer but no resolution only that parts are coming from abroad and takes longer and the last time, was that they had a defected part. 3 MONTHS ITS BEEN going on 4 MONTHS laundromat it's expensive 20.00 to 25.00 a week I could bought a new dryer by now..... I NEED HELP!!!

Just purchased so haven’t had to use this. Will just have to wait.

Return it because bad worker that didn’t want to install washer and got refund on washer and protection plan

I bought this warranty just to be safe in the hope that the new computerized washing machine does not fail but if it does…well hello geek squad

The geek squad took forever to install. My husband had to correct them several times. They were not even friendly to converse and show you how to use it.

Hope its worth the money. Haven't had to use it on an appliance yet. But its good knowing I just have to call someone without being out of pocket.

Do not waste your money on this worthless paper warranty. My $1200 LG washer broke after 21 days of proper use. The Geek Squad technician told me that the manufacturer would handle the warranty within the first year. The manufacturer has a 48 hour window to enter your name into a field technician system and then another 48 hours to call you. That’s 4 days with a broken washer before you can even secure a service appointment. Bust Buy and LG are complete jokes. Save yourself the time and aggravation - buy elsewhere and not an LG product.

If I could give this company a no star I would ghs as in Goodman home solutions! geek squad needs to cancel there contract! First they canceled my appointment 3 times to come look at it so I lost a total of 3 days work. Getting to talk to a supervisor is absolutely impossible then wanted to order a part without even looking at it. Comes and lifts lid and leaves takes another week for part to come and then I have to schedule another app so another day off work

Actually I do not know how to use it I did not even know I got it Good to know What can I do with it ? I had to pay my new tv installation recently and I had to pay my cooktop repair 2 months ago So does it worth it ?
