    Plan only covered washer in washer/dryer set

    After the drum cracked on our old washer we decided to upgrade and get a new washer and dryer set. We purchased a Samsung set with a Geek Squad protection plan on 11/20/2020. Last week my dryer stopped working. When we called the Geek Squad for service, we were told the plan was only for the washer. Luckily we are still covered under the manufacture's warranty but the closest repair place is in Oregon, over 200 miles away. Our dryer will not be fixed for another week! In hindsight I realize I should have read the fine print but feel this could have addressed more clearly.

    Just through it in, never checked to make sure the water was running or gas was connected. Little box on washer don't stay together unless there is a piece of tape holding it, well that explains why it was never taken off. Yes, still waiting for them to replace it, but because I am in the Medical Field they won't deliver it, during my hours and don't deliver on a Sunday and that's the only day I'm off. Other than that, I guess I'm suppose to tell patients family members and patients " I'm sorry I can't take care of you because I have to wait on Best Buy!" Yeah... No! I don't think so... suppose it was your family member! You wouldn't like it and would do every thing in your power to get me fired!

    They can’t even manage to deliver goods, pick up defective merchandise they knowingly sold a customer. Making it a fire and safety hazard for months as the customer had to store Best Buy’s defective item. They made me waste hours at a time to schedule at least 7 pick up appointments to cancel day of, never show up, call and say they were on the way yet they never showed. The customer service reps hang up on you.

    Had to purchase the protection plan for 3rd time in one year because the washers keep breaking down and have to be replaced! Was told the protection plan would be refunded this time so I added it again now they say they can’t refund it! Nothing but liars and thieves at WorstBuy! The call was recorded so they can verify I was told it would be refunded but they still won’t because they said it was misinformation!

    Do not waste Your money. I was informed noise is not covered. We know noises come from a malfunction or natural sources. This is a washing machine. Brakes makes noise you check to see the cause. They did not bother to come and see the cause of the noise…

    As with an protection plan over priced. If you just set that money aside and add a little each month or year, you can just buy brand new again.

    BB cancelled my protection plan when my appliance was unable to be installed. Please note that the item was indeed delivered and at my home. They also cancelled my installation instead of rescheduling. All of which is absurd. Now my I've had to repurchase and the protection plan is not showing on my account.

    I am currently having trouble with my dryer and every time I call the number to set up an appointment the automatic services hangs up on me. This review is from 3-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection

    Payed for a new washing machine & It arrived broken after installing it wouldn’t work so they replaced it a week later with an LG washer but canceld my warranty with out my knowledge. Claimed they didn’t know I still wanted the warranty, of course I wanted the warranty I just wanted a brand new washing machine that actually worked now a year later the washing machine had stopped working and there nothing I can do about it. Agent admitted it was a mistake on Best Buy but there’s nothing they can do about it.

    The GE GAS Dryer was never delivered . neither the install was performed . completely unprofessional and unreliable service and very unprofessional customer service who has no clue what's happening to my order . the order was placed on March 20th 2024. its been over a month .and i still haven't received the product . HOW CAN THE WARRANTY ACTIVATE WITHOUTH THE PRODUCT NOT BEING DELIVERED AND INSTALLED

    LG setup Wi-Fi no instruction. I need LG support. But nothing . Also use LG cost more times and more money than Samsung

    Buy 5 year when washer machine broken. Call them. They don’t come fix and take so long for appointments If anyone know , please concern and don’t buy appliances at bestbuy due to Greek Squad not helpful like other

    Geek Squad Really Doesn't Care About You

    I had problems getting my refund/exchange done by several agents. It was a "pass the buck" type thing. My original purchase of the broken Insignia washer was on 8-2-21 and the exchange was done on 8-15-21. I received my new Samsung on 9-8-21. I was given a compensation of one amount and then the next Geek Squad agent and his manager on the day of delivery refused to honor the prior Geek Squad agents amount. They blamed the computer system for the much lower compensation. They told me I would receive a call back once the washer showed as delivered in the system. That was two days ago. No call back and no compensation. If I could give them a 0 star rating, I'd do it twice
