    at five years, appliance broke. hassle to get fixed, service to fix unreliable. took about 2 weeks to get someone out to look at it, then another month to get them out to fix it, this was after one appointment being a no show. rethinking where i will be buying my next appliances and warranties

    Purchased a whirlpool cabrio washer and the worst product ever. i only had for 6 years and the bearings are gone. The Geek Squad coverage only covers if the manufacturers warranty still covers the item. we were told the parts are not covered even though the warranty states the machine is covered though 2024. Be careful!!

    The installers hooked up new washer dryer said it is defective and they left it not working got in their truck and left without communicating anything to me. I called geek squad as I had purchased 5 year protection plan and they told me to find my own tech since they had nobody available for several weeks.

    I normally skip these warranty programs but dryer parts are expensive. It's odd to pay for something and hope you don't need to use it.

    Horrible Service turn around time

    The dryer part of my new very expensive LG washer/dryer now does not work properly. I called and have to wait until April 16th for someone to come out!!! That is 21 days of a dryer not working properly that could even cause a fire or something for all we know.... faster service is a MUST!!

    Already had issues with my washer within 3 months of purchase. Called geek squad and they set up an appointment. I took off of work and the same day of appointment, the tech called me and said he’s not coming because the Maytag washer is under manufacturer warranty. Can’t figure out why customer service didn’t tell me on the phone so I didn’t have to waste a day off of work. Shame on geek squad!

    I had to purchase a new product and new protection plan for a product taht was delivered twice defective. The rep submitted the request to cancel and refund the protection plan of the original product but Best Buy canceled the protection plan for wrong product, the product i currently have. Which resulted in another phone call and over 2 hours on the phone to get a case opened to reinstate the plan for the product I have and cancel the plan for the product returned.

    Inform the Technician straight to the point!

    It all depends on the Technician degree of skills. If you don't tell them exactly what is wrong, they will simply do as little work as possible, and not fully fix your product.

    We have had the worst experience ever with this service. We have been trying to get our dryer fixed for the past 2 years. The companies that they send to make the repairs are terrible. They don't communicate well with the customer, provide little information on the problem and in our experience, broke our dryer completely.

    Poor Customer Service

    Installed new dryer. Left the dryer hose too long and crumpled it into the wall. Called and someone was supposed to come out that day. No one came out until the following week. Geek Squad blamed a 3rd part and the 3rd party blamed Geek Squad. I’m still waiting on the manger to call me back.
