The Geek Squad protection plan does exactly what it is suppose to do. We've had issues with our washing machines and had them replaced based on the decisions by the Geek Squad.

What an amazing machine! Ive had this washer a little over 2 weeks now and it is absolutely amazing! I work in the food service industry, so my clothes hold a lot of the food smell. No matter how much detergent or scent beads i used, it still had a faint odor. But this washer has noticeably been more effective in cleaning my clothes. Not to mention tje spin cycle has the laundry all but bone dry after finishing. Just a superb piece of equipment all around!

Greek squad did an awesome job to installing my washer

They came in and helped move old appliances. Got everything hooked up and was also able to tell me that the outlet we had to plug the dryer into was actually not the correct one.

I will purchase the 5-year protection because I can rest assured that if there is a problem with the washing machine, I will not have to pay a service fee of nearly $100 each time!

Best machine I’ve ever owned. I’ve always had hand-me-down washers & splurged when my last one died. I was nervous because I’ve always been told the newer machines had a lot of issues but I’ve had this machine for almost 4 years & have yet to encounter a single problem. This machine has so many options & always manages to get whatever I’m washing back to its cleanest form. Clothes, towels, bed sheets, dog toys, shoes, etc. There’s never an odd smell, it still looks brand new & if you procrastinate on laundry like me the huge barrel is a must because I can do my entire households laundry in 3 loads.

Obviously, these reviews have been manipulated. I have never heard any review board brag about the Geek Squad warranty protection program more than the quality of the product. Although, it does appear to be a fair price I suppose. For us, we are going with a home protection plan from Sears or something. We have had another similar LG set in the past and it latest over 8 years, until we moved from our house. My only recommendation is to read the care for tips so that your washer machine doesn't stink from mold or whatever it is that makes it stink, years down the road. I am differently doing that different with this set. It has a beautiful gray color out set.

I bought this item as an open box and was excited to receive it. When it was delivered, I washed a load of clothes to make sure it worked properly, but could not get the door lock. This was very disappointing so I called the number on the card. The delivery man gave me. I attempted to get it fixed since I got the geek, squad protection, however, they advise since the washer was under warranty. I had to go through LG. I’m not sure what the purpose of getting geek squad is if I have to go through LG.In order to avoid the hassle I called back and asked what I needed to do to replace it. Since it was an open box, I had to go into the store. They could not help me over the phone. Everyone at the store was very nice unfortunately it was frustrating to go through the process of having to get a replacement washer. Between calling and the store it took about three hours to get it resolved. I thought having Geek squad would make it easier!

Just added the 5 years warranty to my new washer. I think it a a good idea to have that to protect the machine

Communication isn’t always the greatest but the people have been professional and helpful. I tried calling multiple times and it sounded like an international connection where the line was cracking and kept dropping. I eventually had to use a chat but they aren’t always helpful because they told me someone would call to complete my appt scheduling and no one ever called.

So far the washer has been great! It looks great with the matching dryer. The only downside is that the washer is so high that no one else can get clothes out of the bottom. I’ll update my review if the washer fails.

First machine the door did not seal which resulted in a wet floor and high heat in my laundry room. REQUIRED seriously slamming the door to even get the machine to shut and run. Second machine door was perfect but drum off balance and it creates a loud thud and clanging noise. Best Buy wanted to send technician to repair A BRAND NEW MACHINE. Does that make sense? Paying for a new machine that arrives broken. Now trying an upgrade with a GE PROFILE
