    They only assign a limited time slot for the tech

    I ordered a new desktop, Windows 11 and at home installation/data migration from BB. The tech NEVER arrived for the scheduled appointment after waiting almost 3 weeks. No call - nothing. At 4PM, 8 hours latwer after sitting here all day, when I called to see when the tech was coming I received a "sorry, we will have to reschedule". They rescheduled with me for another 4 weeks out. After the tech arrived for the re-scheduled appt (for which I had now waited 7 weeks) and tried to do the installation and data migration for 40 minutes or so, he said "they only allow me a time slot so I am going to have to leave soon" - even though he had not completed the installation or migration! "I think you'll be ok, just use your scan disk to copy your files to the new system" Be ware. Be ware.

    BAD GAS DRYER....BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

    Ordered a new Samsung 7.5 Cu. Ft. Smart Gas Dryer Model# DVG50BG83000VA3 and had it delivered on 4/12/2025. It is now 5/12/2025 and the machine is broken. They either need to replace a belt or the motor. Best Buy only provides 15 days to replace or return so they will do nothing to help me with this issue. I am now dealing with Samsung. They have scheduled an appointment to repaid my 30 day old machine for one week later. The machine looks beautiful.....but if I am unable to use it a month later.... What will happen a year from now.

    The geek squad was quick and easy access. they fixed my fridge doors at no charge best feeling ever. This was a great investment! and it was not expensive

    After you buy warranty

    I bought the warranty for my Samsung washer and dryer which was $125 each. A little over a year later my washer stopped working. Thank god I bought the warranty I thought. Well, after calling geek squad they set me up with an independent contractor to fix it. With them , they have these windows of time they can come to my house. They originally told me Monday. 5 days after I called. I took a vacation day. The company contacted me and said they can’t make it that day. I wasted a vacation day. They wanted me to take work off for their appointment because they can’t be sure when they can get there. I’ve now been referred to another independent contractor trying to set up a time. They don’t tell you when you purchase the warranty that it won’t work out if you have a job. Never again.

    DONT BUY THE WASHER AND DRYER

    The dryer stopped working after 4 years. The burning smell was noticed when we turned it on. Call for service and was told the 3-year warranty starts the same day as the manufacturer warranty because they are not allowed to service appliance during the 1-year of manufacture's warranty. When I purchased the additional warranty, I was told the service warranty started after the manufacturing warranty. I was sold a 2-year warranty, which was advertised as a 3-year warranty. There is no way I would have bought this warrant. I paid for the manufacturer warranty and the Geek Squad warranty for the 1st year.

    So the 2nd crew in nearly 2 week saga left refusing to install my new LG Washer /Dryer. The "geek" squad is really incompetent freelancers, disheveled, unmarked graffiti bobtail, for 2nd time, never even took my old machines out. Last week they said i needed a longer hose hookup than geek provided, (erroneous, didn't i learned) i dashed a block away returned with my own hoses, as they drove away. Today a different 2 person crew said adjacent sliding doors needed to be removed, i removed them in under 5 minutes, guy said he was coming back with his pal to remove the old machines, but he lied, drove away. Best Buy apologizes but i have no faith on 3rd visit these clowns would do any better. Very clearly Best Buy pays them whether they successfully install or not, they act like men who get paid anyway. Always bad for the consumer. I bought 2 of the most expensive items in the store, they treated me like dirt, how sad. Ill get the bearing replaced in the 20 year old one, pity all around. Best Buy, fix this, you've lost an old time customer.

    Horrible customer service and delivery support

    purchased a washer and dryer, along with delivery and installation services, only to be informed on the scheduled delivery day that the necessary documentation wasn’t processed correctly. As a result, the delivery couldn’t proceed as planned. When I was forced to reschedule online, I was charged again and given a new delivery date that is 11 days later than the original one. We specifically purchased these appliances because we recently moved into a rental that doesn’t include a washer and dryer. This delay has forced my family and me to make multiple trips to the laundromat, costing way more than what inlaid for delivery all due to Best Buy’s negligence. Once we finally receive the appliances, I will never do business with this company again.

    I received a voicemail saying my dryer would be delivered at 3:30 on July 5th. I slept in after celebrating Independence Day thinking that would be okay. I wake up at 10am to find a text from 6:30am saying it would be delivered at 8:30am. It's no longer scheduled at that point so I call. I was lied to and told they tried to call three times. My call log showed one call at 8:18. She told me they attempted to leave a voicemail and were unable to do so. Also a lie. When I called my voicemail and played her the message where it said 3:30, proving she lied about being able to leave one as well as the original stated time of delivery. After checking my security camera I also see they arrived at 8:10 and left at 8:21. Prior to that she was adamant that the 6:30am text was sufficient notice in the 24 hour widow they claim on the website. I now have to wait three days and clear an additional 12 hours of my schedule to be able to wash my laundry because they can't handle a day after holiday delivery. Don't order from best buy

    Warranty

    The warranty worked but it took a little while to find a service person, but it got fixed. Now 2nd time calling warranty for this machine. Hopefully won't take long to find a service person, but worth the money on warranty.
