Did not need to purchase the Geek Squad protection plan so I returned it back to the store and got a refund. I have been personally called a really big Geek for over forty years now. With that being said and my peers letting me know that I am the biggest Geek that they have ever known for such a long time now, I know that I am completely capable of fixing anything that might cause a problem with the computer electronics on the washing machine should it fail. Can't be much different from the computer controlled French fry machine that I operate at my work where I am King. Burger King that is.

It is good but the weird chiming sounds and some stupid water saver program causes you to use twice as much water as normal.

Nice system had to return due to lack of empathy from delivery team.

Definitely the way to go when ordering these kinds of items. There was a problem with a friend's purchase who had this protection and they took care of him immediately. Very helpful.

I love the warranty. Had one on last washer and when it went down, which was only once, within warranty there is no charge to fix

well my whirlpool washer broke down after about 3 yrs , but lucky ive got geek squad protection , Right , nope Wrong , when i broke i called the geek squad and they sent out a repairman with 4 days this was pretty good , unfortunately he did nothing and said the washer needed 2 parts a little part and a big part , he said it should only take about 3 days to arrive and to call back when i get the parts, well the little part did take 3 days to arrive however the big part didnt arrive so i gave the geek squad a little call and ask them how long before i get the big part well suprise im looking at waiting another 21 business days (over a month in total before they even get the part) this is not a rare part and its not a rare company its whirlpool , but i was told that these companys send out all their parts in bulk and that im just going to have to wait over month before they decide to send all these parts out to all these different customers , so if your considering buy a geek squad protection plan ( or anything whirlpool for that matter ) its worth considering that if anything bigger than a broken dial occurs you may be having to wait for parts and then have to make a appt for installation of the parts which cant take over a month to get the parts and then several weeks for installation (6 to 8 wks in total ) for me i would not have bought this plan had i known what i know now ,

We installed our appliances ourselves, but had a question during installation and they quickly answered with clear instructions.

Having Geek squad protection gives you peace of mind knowing that if the appliance breakdown you know who to call and they are always professional and timely.

When i got my dryer the two delivery drivers were the ones who told me my dryer had some dents which i was very grateful for. And i did a exchange with my dryer it came in quickly

Warranty on my washer and dryer is great anything goes wrong with it I can them and they come fix it quickly

You can't go wrong with the geek squad protection...it could come in handy one day.

I think this is a great service to get when purchasing from Best Buy.

THE PROTECTION PLAN IS GREAT IT GOT ME A BRAND NEW DRYER AFTER THE OLD ONE CRAPPED OUT

I think the GSP is the best, I’d take it over an extend manufactures warranty any day. Easy to file and very hands on.

Purchase the plan but hope I do not need to utilize it. :-)

my gee squad service plan is a worry free plan if something happens. i dont have anything to worry about for 5 years. parts , service, and repair is included

So far the units have been working fine. Hopefully I won’t have to use the plan but it is always good to have a back up
