    The dryer part of my new very expensive LG washer/dryer now does not work properly. I called and have to wait until April 16th for someone to come out!!! That is 21 days of a dryer not working properly that could even cause a fire or something for all we know.... faster service is a MUST!!

    Already had issues with my washer within 3 months of purchase. Called geek squad and they set up an appointment. I took off of work and the same day of appointment, the tech called me and said he’s not coming because the Maytag washer is under manufacturer warranty. Can’t figure out why customer service didn’t tell me on the phone so I didn’t have to waste a day off of work. Shame on geek squad!

    I had to purchase a new product and new protection plan for a product taht was delivered twice defective. The rep submitted the request to cancel and refund the protection plan of the original product but Best Buy canceled the protection plan for wrong product, the product i currently have. Which resulted in another phone call and over 2 hours on the phone to get a case opened to reinstate the plan for the product I have and cancel the plan for the product returned.

    We usually never get an extended warranty but it seems so many washers never last very long with out problems.

    It all depends on the Technician degree of skills. If you don't tell them exactly what is wrong, they will simply do as little work as possible, and not fully fix your product.

    We have had the worst experience ever with this service. We have been trying to get our dryer fixed for the past 2 years. The companies that they send to make the repairs are terrible. They don't communicate well with the customer, provide little information on the problem and in our experience, broke our dryer completely.

    Installed new dryer. Left the dryer hose too long and crumpled it into the wall. Called and someone was supposed to come out that day. No one came out until the following week. Geek Squad blamed a 3rd part and the 3rd party blamed Geek Squad. I’m still waiting on the manger to call me back.

    Long story short took 3 attempts to get a working dryer... The communication between me, the installer, geek squad was absolutely terrible... Had to take 3 days off of work so that cost me money on top of the cost of the products... Never again will I buy an appliance from Best buy

    Instead of a simple pamphlet. (as home Depot does), You have to web search it for a PDF, and down load it. Its 16 pages of legalize. Should be more tailored to appliances and much simpler.

    When i bought my washer i was not given any ppw explaining how the protection plan works. I was told i could access it off the info on my receipt. Today i got out my receipt, got online. It shows me what I purchased and when it was purchased, does nOT show me HOW to access it or where to go to schedule service. But DID want me to add a “review” about the service protection. For what it’s worth, this is it. Idk how the protection plan works, I have to wait for a store to open, so i can call a phone # that routes to someone in another state that’s not even IN a store location to give me answers….

    I bought this for my washing machine, a few months in and I'm already having problems with it. Now qeek suad is telling me they can't do anything and I have to send it to the washing machine company. Why buy this expensive warranty if I can't use it???
