Look, who cares about what they call themselves. Three years of knowing that a fix for any problem with my new washing machine is only a phone call away is worth every cent I paid for it. What price peace of mind? I doubt I will ever need to call them but I know that if I do, they'll be there to fix whatever is broken, and at seventy, that's worth a lot.

Peace of mind, Got the warranty and needed a repair. Repair was done but still had issue so my washer was replaced!

Worth the money. We had a washer that had repeated problems. After multiple servicemen attempted repair and no resolution could be found, the washer was replaced. Servicemen were knowledgeable, friendly and on time. Great service.

I took out a 5 year warranty on a LG 7000cw washer. I'm not really keen on buying warranties unless its a major purchase. Geek Squad has always been helpful in the past giving me great service. Not a bad price for the peace of mind it has to offer.

Geek squad protection is a must went your spending a lot of money on a product like appliances or laundry machines and small appliances. With that said when something does go wrong, you'll def be happy that you coughed up the money for the geek squad because they don't disappoint

Purchased Geek Squad protection for dryer as insurance in case dryer broke down within 5 years. Never had to use it yet but price was reasonable for the extra peace of mind the protection provides.

It is always worth the price to get a 5-year protection option on your appliance. Appliances are not made like they used to be 25 to 30 years ago - one thing goes wrong, and it's a large bill if no protection. Get the coverage.

Ourchased this on a black friday deal, and its been great so far. Very efficient with a superb “quick wash” mode that ovly takes 15 minutes.

It’s a protection plan not much to say about it…..

I’ve owned my washer for a couple years now. A discontinued Samsung front loader that was supposed to be top of the line. It’s a great washer when operational, but unfortunately, not working. Fixing it under factory warranty was great. But now that factory warranty is over, I’m faced with what is turning out to be the most impossible task to-date. Getting a tech out to fix my washer through the Geek Squad Protection plan. Countless time wasted on the phone scheduling appointments and listening to the service agents regurgitate the same prompt while informing me that “Your appointment has been cancelled because there is no tech available.” Constant time off work, or time blocked off from doing other daily chores while waiting for an appointment that will ultimately not show. Not only that, but I’m having to reach out to them to find out what’s going on with the appointment. This is a horrible experience and I’ve come to the conclusion that this service is a waste of time and money. Now I’m stuck waiting for someone to fix my inoperable washer with a household of five for two weeks! FYI, my appointment is now rescheduled for the third time. Just replace my washer at this point.

We have been pleased with the protection plan and are very glad to have purchased it, for we have saved money on it already, and the technician who responded to our washing machine malfunction was conscientious and effective in fixing the problem.

Made the decision to make a purchase on a product that I have some knowledge of. In getting added future protection, I bought the protection plan. It's a win win. I have help waiting for me if I should need it. The cost wasn't astronomical.

Because I bought an open box, it made the cost of the protection plan really affordable. There are some items, in this case a washing machine, which I like to have a warranty on. Haven't had to use it yet but I'm betting if I do, Best Buy Geek Squad will do right by the warranty.
