We had a 5 year warranty on our previous over the range microwave (a Bosch) , which turned out to be a lemon. It broke 4 times during the first two years. In the end, Best Buy refused to repair it and we could instead buy a new one for the amount we had paid for the Bosch. Since we did not lose anything except the waiting time of being without a microwave while waiting for the repair, we decided to buy another 5-years warranty for the replacement we bought (a GE microwave this time). Even if we would not need to use the warranty, it certainly gives me peace of mind to know that I will have free repairs for 5 years if needed.

Bought this coverage for a Samsung dishwasher, only caveat is that evidence of rodents void the protection.

All of my appliances in my kitchen are from Best Buy and insured by the geek squad. I highly recommend the five-year warranty.

The dishwasher I purchased was on sale at the time. I bought the extended warranty with the money I saved with the sale price. All control boards and computer chips these days . Not mechanical like the old days

I love this refrigerator/freezer with french doors and icemaker. The price was perfect, not over the edge. If you are in the maerket for a nerw refrigerator/freezer, this is the one to buy. Oh, almost forgot, it has a water filter, you can purchase one and set it up for automatic billing and they will send it however many months you request.

Geek squad is the best. Ive had independent repairmen, but geek squad is so much better.

We had to call Geek Squad for a warranty repair on our dishwasher. Phone call was simple and a tech was sent in a few days. Tech quickly diagnosed the part issue. The replacement part was installed and the repair was finished in under 5 minutes.

I purchased Greek Squad support plan for my microwave. It is easy to get appointment for service. However, my microwave had issue and the support person told me it costs more to fix and did not do anything. So I am not sure if it is worth it to pay for the plan.
