This is an insurance for my monitor that I've purchased, so far Geek Squad warranty is GREAT!

Anytime I make a purchase I always go with the protection plan just in case.

I have purchased a extended warranty on many of the products from Best Buy. They have always stood by them. Always happy with them.

I had nothing to install at this time. But I know they will do great when I do need them.

Although I have not used this Geek Squad yet, but I have peace of mind knowing I am protected from costly repairs.

Geek Squad protection is always worth the cost especially if you have kids

Usually not a fan of extended plans, but the price is right and since everything is electronic it is worth for piece of mind.

I was so mad when I originally wrote this I didn't realize that I didn't review it from my purchases, so I am reposting this so that you can see it is from a "verified purchase". I paid for 5 year GEEK SQUAD warranty and for the 1st 4 years they were superb. I have been trying to get my Samsung ice maker repaired since middle of July!!!! They have farmed out my repair to what they call "Special Forces" which is A&E AKA Sears repairmen (that's what the repairmen said). The first repair guy didn't notice the fan wasn't working and after he installed the icemaker it was froze over and quit working after 2 days. So I called, waited on hold for 1 hour, than transfered to "special forces" waited an additional hour than set up appointment. This repair guy (Lew) spent over an hour looking it over and ordered all right parts. I'm assuming because of Covid like 1st parts they are taking longer to get. That isn't my problem, no one called or emailed and said appointment was canceled they never called to set up new appointment or even give me a date when part would be in. So I called this friday at 2:15 waited on hold for 45 min, transfered to "special forces" waited on hold for an additional 1 1/2 hours, guy took my information and than ask if he could put me on a "brief hold", 1/2 hour later I hear a click and I was disconnected!!!!! So, called back and waited another hour and finally gave up at 5:30. What really torques me is the guy took all my information and DIDN'T CALL ME BACK WHEN HE DISCONNECTED ME!!!!!!!! So my advice to you is: IF YOU HEAR GEEK SQUAD SAY "SPECIAL FORCES" RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!! 2 MONTHS TO GET AN ICE MAKER REPAIRED!!!!!!! Update: Called again, and again took 2 1/2 hours to get through and this is what they said: There is no ETA on when the parts will be in, and because the ice maker is considered a "luxury item" it isn't considered essential on a refrigerator so I have no recourse! Basically to sum up what they said was "TO BAD, SO SAD". Oh, and to call them when parts are delivered and they will set up an appointment. Can't wait to sit on hold for another 2 1/2 hours!!!!!!!!

Have not had to use yet but nice to know we have it just in case. Worth the money.
