I have used the Geek Squad for either over the phone or chat product support. I haven't had to have a service call yet. So, that means I made a good product choice, eh?

This is a great purchase. I got stuck on a 3-year plan. Best Buy helped me with my new purchase as much as they could. I highly recommend a 5-year plan.

Geek squad protection seems to be a solid investment compared to just a general manufacturer warranty

I have read many articles warning people to not buy extended warranties. After buying Geek Squad and having several issues, I totally disagree with the articles. The Geek Squad protection on several appliances has paid for itself several times over.

Geek squad is great. We have always purchased geek squad protection for all electronics whether we use it or not. Doesn't make sense not to with the cost of everything going up.

As long as geek squad does the installation it is worth it. Some of my products were installed by Best Buy’s third party installers and needs improvement. Geek squad mounted the tv and did a good job.

Bought the add on geek squad for range and microware, I like the no questions asked warranty offered by Best Buy, much better solution than fighting with manufacturer over warranty exceptions, etc
