I like the geek squad warranty. Less hassle than dealing with the manufacturer

Horrific service. Lots of excuses for missed or rescheduled appointments. One appliance took 4 visits to fix. Another appliance 11 visits, 7 parts, and was out of service for 2 1/2 months. They don't care. They don't prioritize you if your appliance is down for an extended period of time. Filing escalations are a joke because no one contacts you. At one point a Case Manager was assigned and he was snarky, rude, and unhelpful. He simply wanted to get the case off his desk the same day received it and told us...QUOTED..."You just have to deal with the system." I was shocked. Its clear technicians are not trained well. All were constantly on their phones doing the troubleshooting we'd already attempted. The headache and inconvenience they cause aren't worth any product price savings you may receive on the actual item. It's worth it to pay a little more for the item from a competitor and use their extended services. For example, we purchased a washer and dryer combo from another big box retailer and when a problem occurred, someone was out within 2 days to fix it. With Geek Squad, we were forced to wait up to 2 weeks in between the repair appointments PLUS 3 additional were either canceled or rescheduled. That is not OK. Save your sanity! Go elsewhere.

These folks were there for me during client emergencies, convention crisis', hardware failures, and helped me with some new technology so I looked dazzling ... all under the pressure of deadlines. They walk on water!

Sometimes I feel like these services are a rip off, but the last few appliances that I bought have failed within 2-3 years and I was glad that I had this protection.

The service plan is a great deal and it works when you have a problem with your washer dryer or dishwasher I recommend

Awesome there if i need it picked up a microwave for my aunt and she lives about 2 hours away so i wanted to make sure she's protected

Geek squad is great. I called for a home reoair they were here in a couple days. Fixed my issue and gave me tips on how to care for my appliances.

Have not had to use it yet but if we need it we have confidence that the Geek Squad will be here for us. This will be a big help if we encounter any Microwave problems as our Home Service Plus will not cover Microwave's.

I feel very comfortable with the Greek squad Warranty, We have in past had issue with an appliance and the squad took care of it with in a week, that's service thanks.

I always feel more comfortable with the protection plans offered. You never know with the advance electronics in these appliances now, when something can and will go bad, you have piece of mind with the protection.

I absolutely purchased the 5 year standard geek squad protection for the new microwave

Having that extra few years of coverage on an item in very reassuring, just the fact that you have one less thing to worry about for an extended period of time

I always get the protection plans with everything I buy at Best Buy as for different reasons sometimes things happen out of your control and always the Geek Squad has always solved the problems quickly without question.

Have to purchasing similarequipment somewhere else without the extended warranty I wasted my money in the past. My new motto for appliances is, " buy it don't be foolish "
