Saved on new installations by being a part of Geek Squad. Excellent backup when we have questions or when something doesn't seem to work. Better than Google.

We always get 5 year protection on appliances at Best Buy. We found that most of our appliances break down, if at all, around the 5 year mark. This is why we prefer the 5 year protection over the 3 year protection plan.

You can never go wrong with Best Buys geek squad service. I always purchase even though to date their products have outlived them. Money well spent for that extra security.

The repairs are performed by a third party and their communication is horrible. My bosch dishwasher stopped working at 17 months, the repairman said it was beyond economical repair and they would replace it. It took one month and over 10 calls getting passed from representative to representative to finally schedule the replacement. I had purchased a 5 year protection plan, they now said after the unit is replaced the protection plan is void and I need to purchase a new plan. They decided it was cheaper to replace rather than fix it, now my 5 year protection plan is voided after only 17 months. SCAM!

Geek Squad is great to have and the people are awesome at besybuy.

Haven't had to use it yet but Its better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it

So far I have not had to use my warranty but I purchased it just in case if something occur I would have that protection. If something should happen it gives great comfort to know it covered.

With the appliances now adays having so much technology I thought it was good to buy some added protection. Hope I never need to use them, but if I do I have the protection.
