Have not needed them yet. But I am glad we bought some protection.

I purchased an extended program for our dishwasher as we just used a warranty on our 1 year old dishwasher that leaked even after geek squad repairs. I wish I didn’t have to pay extra to upgrade my dish washer however, knowing that I have 3 years protection on this gives me peace of mind! Easy to work with GeekSquad on these extended plans.

On May 22, I purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Best Buy. After two unsuccessful installation attempts, Best Buy left the dishwasher at my home. I managed to get it installed on June 1, only to find that it was defective—it would not drain or dry my dishes. I contacted Bosch customer service and despite the product being only 9 days old, they wanted me to pay for someone to come out and service the machine. We ran multiple tests and the dishwasher simply would not drain properly and left the dishes soaking wet after each attempt. I had purchased the 5 year extended warranty from Best Buy. And I was certain they could help me when Bosch couldn't. I contacted Best Buy customer service, and they informed me that while they could replace the dishwasher, I would need to pay for the installation. This was contrary to the original purchase agreement, which included free installation. I refused to pay for the additional service, resulting in them retrieving the defective dishwasher. I pleaded both in-store and over the phone for them to honor the sale's original terms, including free installation and delivery, but I was repeatedly denied. During my visit to the store, I waited for half an hour before anyone approached me. When I asked to speak with a manager, my request was denied, with the staff claiming there was nothing they could do. I received the same response from customer service over the phone. This has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating retail experiences I have encountered in my 40 years.

This service plan is worth it's weight in gold!! We purchased the same one about 5 years ago on our new Samsung stove, dishwasher and refrigerator . Used it on 2 of the 3 appliance. One easy phone call and they were out to fix things within a week! We did not hesitate to purchase it on our new Bosch dishwasher when the time came!

We wouldn't buy any of our appliances without this warranty. It has been amazing in the past, they would come out and fix everything, wouldnt buy any appliance without it!

I would have to sat more of my things break down way before their time, at least that's what I'm hoping when buying them! It seems that I have been lucky with about 40% of my purchases and they have lasted for many years. This day and time, things just seem to last!! I recommend getting that extra protection. I like how the Geek Squad handles your products when needing repaired or replaced!! Can't go wrong!!

purchased the extended warranty for peace of mind. Microwave came with 12 month, wanted longer, Geek Squad protection is a good value.

Geek squad is the way to go for major appliances. Best service for the buck.

Geek Squad Protection a must with Quality of today's major appliances. Geek Squad protection is the main reason I purchase from Best Buy. Other stores may have better selection, sales knowledge and service oriented management... but they don't have the Geek Squad advantage. I had my first Square Deal experience this year and was left out in the cold! Square Deal was no better than credit card coverage or worse.

I bought this as an added protection. I’ve bought so many appliances and different brands to know not to trust just a name. All products, even the best names, have issues. I have 7 kids and know better than to just buy an appliance without this plan. It’s such a good price for an extra 5 years of protection.

A lot of people say an extended warranty is a waster of money, but I only purchase them on certain higher-dollar items. I've had no issues thus far!

This has saved us money. Would recommend to get it. My wife got it and didn't realize it covered our other electronics. I found out when I took my computer in that it was covered.

Good the GEEK SQUAD was very helpful and he did a wonderful job

I cannot say enough about the Geek Squad men and women! They are amazing! I have had Geek Squad protection for years... they have taken care of all my computer and phone problems! They are always friendly and reassuring... and help keep me calm and educated!
