    Even though we looked at many reviews of this product I felt that for the reasonable price of the warranty it would be a good idea to purchase it.

    I had this machine for a month and it was not draining fully. Service man solved the issue within 15 minutes.

    I am in the process of needing service for my oven purchased 9/19. Today I got an appointment that is 2 weeks out. All I tried to do was to get help in getting this appointment sooner, for our cooking oven. I literally was bounced around to at least 10 people, over 5 different calls, agents who are nasty and hang up on you (at this point, I was aggravated with how I was being handled, and upset about it, but kept as cool as I can) Geek squad could care less about you, this is sent to an outside service (who really could not care about you) and the handling of my situation has basically been non existent. The disconnecting calls were ridiculous, the transferred calls was useless, I even said do not transfer me to an outside agency (who handles appliances) because I was getting nowhere with them. In no way did I ever even think that the geek squad service handling of my problem would be this bad. Terrible experience, I guess that I am going to have to just shut up and wait 2 weeks. then they will come and look, say they have no part, order it and reschedule (probably another 2 week wait) I wrote this review, no my wife. S

    Don’t like that you have to purchase additional warranty. Additional warranties are also pricey

    A convoluted avenue to device replacement!

    I purchased a new dishwasher with a 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection plan. Two years later, our dishwasher started throwing an error code. A service technician arrived and ordered a couple of parts. Two weeks later was the earliest we could get the technician back to our home to replace the parts that came in a week. The technician replaced the first part, but it continued to throw an error code, so he replaced the second part, and it is still throwing an error code. He proceeds to order another part, and two more weeks later, he arrives, replaces the part that came in a week, and the dishwasher throws an error code. We are a month into troubleshooting, and the technician is ordering more parts to throw at it. I asked what the next step would be, and he informed me that he would replace a previously replaced part and then go from there. Now we are at the head-scratching phase, and I can't get someone to make the call to replace the defective dishwasher. Instead, they want to continue throwing parts at it delaying the inevitable at the cost of my time. The technician says he is not authorized to make the call to replace the device and can only continue changing parts. The Geek Squad representative I called confirmed this. Only a district manager can call for replacement, but we, as customers, are shielded from these managers. I am beginning to question the usefulness of this protection plan if it doesn't allow an avenue for replacing a defective device.
