    Terrible in store customer service

    I have this plan on multiple devises and in home appliances. 1. My microwave- three weeks without it working. The store said call the 1800 number the 1800 number sent me to the store this went in circles. Then the store said we got it. The replacement came in and no install was set up. 2. We bought for air pods. One store said “we can’t help call Apple”. We call Apple. They said you can take them to Best Buy they are an authorized repair... then called the other area store. Sorry we no longer take walkins. I explained what happened at the previous store. “What we handle that you don’t need to go to Apple?? “ yeah no they mail your pods out. Unlike Apple. Just a mess and run around. Nothing like you expect. The customer service promised and delivered are two different things.

    I hope I never need to use this, but having the Samsung service tech out to the house a week after I bought their microwave tells me that I will.

    Defective Dishwasher - Never Worked!

    I purchased a Samsung dishwasher model DW80M9550UG in July of 2019, just a little over 1 year ago. The first time I used it, it worked. At the end of the cycle the door opened and the dishes were fairly dry with the exception of the plastics. After that, every time I attempted to use it, it would not complete a cycle. Water would collect in the bottom and it simply stopped. I had to use towels to soak up the water. I called Bestbuy and Samsung countless times and technicians were sent out to repair it. The same repairs were being done over and over, but nothing changed. I have been washing dishes by hand for over a year now and I've lost track of how many technicians have been to my home. The company refused to replace the unit until I finally had to seek a legal remedy. On top of all of that, when I purchased the unit, I also purchased an extended warranty. I guess we now know what that's worth! It's only now they have come to the table to discuss a replacement. Wow. I wonder why...

    Overall glad I got it. I used the service 4 times and would have been out a large cost for repair. Repair times were odd and sometimes took weeks for them to get in.

    We have had this dishwasher for a 1.5 years and it is already being replaced. I am so thankful we have our geek squad warranty, but this is ridiculus that a dishwasher is already being replaced so soon. Our last one made it about 2.5 years and was replaced under the geek squad warranty too. This dishwasher is garbage. The power spray spreads all the dirty water all over the other dishes and never washes them well. We would have to rewash loads all of the time. The 3rd rack we took out completely as it would never get them all clean. This was not to over loading the dishwasher, it just never worked right. The dishwasher was quiet and I am thankful for that though. But a $900 dishwasher should work better than this, buyers be aware that this dishwasher is crap and will not last.

    I paid for extra service but not sure if i should have paid extra. A product should last without having to pay i think

    The Geek Squad does not have anyone certified to repair or diagnose a problem with Samsung products, but Samsung did replace my defective stove. I am not sure how/if the warranty would have helped.

    Was disappointed that the geek squad said this warranty did not cover my stove top glass cracks from the heat. Don't get warranty if thinking they cover the glass on a stove. Reason why i gave a 1 star. They used to be great at covering products in the past but now its just isnt what it used to be.

    This was a great buy because I dealt with gsp before and I know they are wonderful at there work. I just do not think there tv protection is the best

    geek squad lie -5 year warranty only 4 no coverage

    horrible trick with geek squad. I bought 5 year protection on a brand new dishwasher. It arrived dead on arrival - wouldnt work. i call geek squad and they say they dont cover the first year - only manufacturer warranty covers first year. Manufacturer took over week to send someone out. Geek squad lies 5 year warranty is really 4 years AFTER first year! they lied

    I bought the warranty because I read the knobs break easily. They are cheaply made (unlike the rest of the unit) and broke within a month of having it. I would recommend it for this product.

    When trying to reach repair services, I am put on hold for a long time, and the waiting period is too long. So I take it to other service repairman.

    We purchased an open box dishwasher and always feel better with a warranty when we do this. Never had to use it so I'm not sure how well the process will go but hoping for the best if we ever have to.

    GOOD LUCK SETTING UP A SERVICE CALL

    The link to set up a service call yourself forces you to call the 800 number, but the service at the 800 number is trash. When they can't figure out how to help you, they just hang up. They've done this countless times across the last two years, so I know it isn't a technical issue - it's an exit strategy. Setting up a service call should never be this difficult. Also, you don't get GeekSquad technicians, you get subcontractors (that's a detail they don't really mention when you sign up).
