    Samsung Range

    Awful range bad design Bestbuy don’t even sell this unit anymore because of its flaws. My wife and I have been very loyal to Bestbuy when making big purchases! The quality of the range is poor the top grates lay on top of the range by only rubber grommets that melt and now your pots and pans don’t sit even on the range and is very dangerous cooking on them. We buy warranties on everything we buy they’ve been out to replace them but was told by geek squad they won’t replace the grates again what kind of warranty is that and very poor design from Samsung that’s why this Range is no longer sold at Bestbuy! Trust me stay away from Samsung appliances. Refrigerator Problems as well with the Samsung know problem of the ice makers leaking and ruining your kitchen floor! Thanks Bestbuy and Samsung for selling me and full of lemons!!!!!!!!

    VERY BAD PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

    If I could give a zero I would. DO NOT PURCHASE GEEK SQUAD IT IS ALL OUTSIDE CONTRACTORS!! Save a lot of money and buy the warranty through the manufacture of brand you bought. I have been getting the runaround and been without a dishwasher for months now. If you get a really good deal on a product they will not honor the contract for giving you a like product. Customer service does not care and will hang up on you also a lot of empty promises and no call backs I will NEVER BUY GEEK SQUAD or recommend it to friends anymore. I’m just upset that now I’m stuck with it on all my products as it used to be great.

    I am so upset and disappointed with how Best Buy has handled my repairs. My dishwasher has broken 4 times! The tech is amazing but it continues to leak at this point the are refusing to replace it stating these occurrences aren’t related even though 3/4 were related to draining/leaking issues and 1 of them was related to electrical work needing to be replaced likely due to water damage. These continued issues are damaging my floor and they keep saying to just keep replacing parts. Everyone I speak to says we should qualify but yet the “Best Buy” higher ups say no. Ridiculous guess I’ll continue letting my kitchen become a swimming pool and contact Best Buy for damages to my kitchen.

    be very careful what they cover, I purchased a entire kitchen appliances and had a bad microwave which was replaced and then had a bad touch pad, i called and was told there is no warranty on the product and that was talking directly to the geek squad, after many calls and prof they honored my warranty however they did not tell me it was only 2 years, the otuch pad lasted about a year and is defective and i can not get service. I have purchased many major appliances, TV, Apple Laptops, Ipads, beats and seem to have to argue all the time to get service. Very disappointed in Best Buy and they just lost a loyal customer for something they didnt fix the first time

    If I could give 0 stars I would. Requested installation of an electric range (and disposal of an existing one). They came in, took out the old one and when they unboxed the new one, it was damaged. So they put the old one back. I reschedule for 2 days later. Guess what, the 2nd range is ALSO damaged! I was told customer service would call me in 24 hrs (guess what - it's been 3 days!) So I call up customer service and receive no apology for their service. Their response is "Let's schedule the installation and after that we'll have some one call you"! Seriously??? I stopped using them for while, because the folks who had come to fix my dishwasher had no clue to the problem. I guess things never change!

    Turns on every time you get near it

    The dishwasher cleans well however every time you get near it the dishwasher turns on and you have to manually shut it off. It does it while running or off does not matter. I go by it several times a day and in the morning reach over the counter to open my blinds and it turns on. Very big pain to think I have to deal with this the rest of the life of this dishwasher!!! Especially since no one at Best buy is willing to help and no one at customer service has been able to put me through to anyone who will get in touch with me!!

    Be careful of the fine print when purchasing Geek Squad and or extended warranty. I purchased both wanting to get the best coverage. I had an issue with oven not heating up. it wouldn't heat up and i smelled gas. Didn't have a working oven for over 2 months due to diagnostic and repairs. I asked for a new stove after 1 and 1/2 months due to the issues and gas smell concerns. The cost of the previous repairs added up exceeding the purchase price of the stove. smh doesn't make good business sense. Their policy is they have to try and fix the "same issue" 3 times the time frame and cost doesn't matter as the customer is left out to dry. i had to eat out spending additional money for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.

    The folks in the stores are great; helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The phone system totally prevents you from contacting the store or getting any help. When you reach someone, they give you info you already have, tell you nothing you don’t already know, do not help at all, and give you no way to improve the situation. If you can buy at a store, good place to buy. If all your transactions are remote, you will likely be up the creek. The phone, e-chat, and computer systems are designed to prevent communication, to frustrate, and deter resolution. Best Buy obviously cares not at all about customer relations. Edit: on the evening of the day I was supposed to have already picked up my appliance, I received a text/email, dated one day prior, that it would not be ready for pickup. Not a big help after the fact. Edit: My order was so delayed, that credit card authorization ran out. Email/text told me to update payment info on order. Clicked on link; no place or way to update payment info. Had to go to store to pay and keep them from cancelling my order. Horrible system; horrible abuse of customers. Update: Now two months later, supposedly (as of a month ago) able to pick up in four days from now. I understand the chip shortage, labor shortage, social/economic difficulties, and necessary accommodations. No order status updates available online or in app. No-one to speak to. Absolutely a black hole of zero information, without even some Hawking radiation to indicate any info to be had. Look at the online reviews; all horrible. For a good reason.

    This stove does not come with a power cord. But they’re happy to deliver it and take it out of the box and charge you $500 but a power cord is crossing the line

    Geek Squard did terrible job on my install.

    Geek squad installed a bosh dishwasher. on the surface, everything looked fine. After running the dishwasher for a couple days, notice water running under floor tiles on top of sub floor. Call geek squad to come repair, and they never showed up. I then decided to swap and exchange. I still haven't been able to get my new dishwasher. the system won't let them schedule a delivery. I still have the one that leaks and I can't use it which they never replaces. This has been going on since October 17, 2020. Someone Please Resolve My Problem Please.

    Not worth it...

    I would not recommend this protection unless you are willing to be without the broken appliance for 2 months. I called in the repair on 5/11, and when they eventually did come out the parts to fix were more than the cost of replacement AND some of them were on indefinite back-order where the odds were that it would take months to get them. Did they replace it? No... told me that I had to wait. I have spent at least 40 hours with various people on the phone trying to get my dishwasher replaced. Under the terms of the contract they are supposed to replace once it has been over a month. Instead, they tell me that they are still waiting on approvals. Meanwhile I am still without a dishwasher and it is a serious health problem given medical issues in my family. I've been told on three separate occasions that they would replace my dishwasher, and here I still am without. Total waste of money.

    Bare bones

    Adequate appliance. Mine came with only a wire rack in the broiler area. Kind of messy for broiling meat! You have to buy a broiler pan for added cost and you won’t know until it is installed.

    I bought this for my new stove for my house, apparently i should not have even bothered because I am selling my house and the other 2 years left on the plan are non-transferable to the new owner. You would think if you spend the money for something like that it warranties the item not the person using the item. So if you are a house flipper or you plan to move sooner rather than later do not waste the extra money for the protection because you will just be throwing away your money.

    Looks; nice. Noise level: not the best. In the slate color, not any other choices. Also changed out the incandescent bulb to led, it was way too hot in the unit.
