    Extended warranty is always a question of whether to purchase or not. We have started adding the warranty and have use it more than once on our appliances.

    Awesome there if i need it picked up a microwave for my aunt and she lives about 2 hours away so i wanted to make sure she's protected

    Bought this warranty for all our appliances we purchased from Best Buy. Already had to use the warranty one time and was very easy to use. Geek Squad had me fixed in no time.

    we always purchase geek squad with all of our appliances and they are very good with fixing. You can also add on other things that they can cover with the 5 yr protection plan.

    I don't know why I keep purchasing these, except that they provide peace of mind. I have only used a warrant once in 20 years, but when I did, they replaced the item immediately.

    Geek squad is great. I called for a home reoair they were here in a couple days. Fixed my issue and gave me tips on how to care for my appliances.

    Sometimes I feel like these services are a rip off, but the last few appliances that I bought have failed within 2-3 years and I was glad that I had this protection.

    What's the point of having Protection plan if you

    Once you do get to part of getting appointment to get serviced you are good to go. But it's the part that trying to set up appointment is really really super hard. You will reach to the point of feeling like throw your phone to any wall beside you before you get someone who speaks enough English to understand you want to set up service time with Protection plan you have bought. Some days you will get through, somedays you won't. Take your pick But I would say it's still cheaper to go through this than actually not having any protection at all since you might be lucky to talk to someone

    Repaired dishwasher quickly

    Dishwasher wasn't working well and they sent a repair person that came quickly and was very professional and gave us good maintenance tips.

    These folks were there for me during client emergencies, convention crisis', hardware failures, and helped me with some new technology so I looked dazzling ... all under the pressure of deadlines. They walk on water!

    Horrific service. Lots of excuses for missed or rescheduled appointments. One appliance took 4 visits to fix. Another appliance 11 visits, 7 parts, and was out of service for 2 1/2 months. They don't care. They don't prioritize you if your appliance is down for an extended period of time. Filing escalations are a joke because no one contacts you. At one point a Case Manager was assigned and he was snarky, rude, and unhelpful. He simply wanted to get the case off his desk the same day received it and told us...QUOTED..."You just have to deal with the system." I was shocked. Its clear technicians are not trained well. All were constantly on their phones doing the troubleshooting we'd already attempted. The headache and inconvenience they cause aren't worth any product price savings you may receive on the actual item. It's worth it to pay a little more for the item from a competitor and use their extended services. For example, we purchased a washer and dryer combo from another big box retailer and when a problem occurred, someone was out within 2 days to fix it. With Geek Squad, we were forced to wait up to 2 weeks in between the repair appointments PLUS 3 additional were either canceled or rescheduled. That is not OK. Save your sanity! Go elsewhere.
