    Over range microwave install

    They had to do it twice because it didn’t have room to open the microwave door all the way the fist time. I was lucky to catch it. This left three extra holes in my cabinet.

    I won't pay for protection on electronics again since it's always been a hassle hope it's easy with appliances. Knock on wood, hope I don't need it.

    I can't get anyone to answer or return my call. I have been trying for months. I even went to the store. No one cares. Don't waste your money on this.

    Ice Maker Issues

    Ice maker frosts then freezes. It is a known issue but no one really seems to have a fix for it.

    My dishwasher broke several times. When it was due for a replacement under the terms, customer service was rude and refused to honor the contract initially. I emailed the management, and apparently they approved the replacement, but no one ever called to tell me that. I only learned because I called back myself. I had a water heater need replacement under a different company, and they honored it easily with no issues. Everyone price matches these days, so companies should remember that poor customer service leads to lost customers.

    Geek squad Canceled warranty in error

    They canceled my extended warranty when they ordered replacement for damaged product. Now I have to go to store to add back on. Port service not satisfied

    Awful service. Have 5 year extended warranty on a Whirlpool oven. 1st year control board was replaced under factory warranty. Best Buy will not replace oven until they have sent someone out 4 times. Big waste of time and energy dealing with an oven that never worked correctly. Very frustrated dealing with Best Buy and this lemon of an oven!

    My dishwasher failed exactly a year into the purchase. GSP isn’t owning up and got me the run between their teams, the manufacturer. No solution. Long waits. Long call wait. No ownership.

    apparently buying a protection plan deducts 10000 points ($160 rewards dollars) off your account. Contacting customer service does not help. I was left with the explanation that "the system was correct". Correct how? I can't get more help or a place for complaint.

    Best Buy doesn't have anybody to do this work. I had to hire a repairman to evaluate the new stove installation and take safety measurements.

    Do yourself a favor and don't waste the money on this plan. They do not know how to install anything they always come up with a reason why they can't and they don't know what they're doing and that's just a fact

    Beware of warranties

    When I tried to get my dishwasher repaired, they said the warranty didn't exist, and that it was a refrigerator rather than dishwasher. So the would not fix it. Took two hours at the store to strain it out. Then scheduled repair two weeks out.
