    This is awesome. You can get your appliance serviced with little to nothing spent. I get all my appliances & TV's inspected & serviced each year.

    Beware of these service plans, these types of "warranties" seem harder and harder to use. I have normally purchased my large appliances from Best Buy because of the service plans, but I am considering going elsewhere in the future. Fridge has been having an issue and I called to get the fridge serviced, they tell me that the fridge has a warranty with the manufacturer for 10 years parts and 5 years labor. I spent two hours trying to get ahold of Whirlpool and finally talking to them they confirm that but the warranty does not cover the service call to see what is wrong with the fridge, so I am geek squad tells me this time they won't authorize the service call without a RMA number that I need to get from the manufacturer, so I have to waste more time now to get this information. I was a big believer of Best Buy and Geek Squad, this has changed by this whole experience.

    It was a good delivery and no damage to the product we purchased as well as the great job for the installation. The service team who delivered and installed our brand new refrigerator did an excellent job.

    My item was delivered and left in the middle of my kitchen. I did not realize that there was a check box somewhere that indicated i wanted the delivery person to put the fridge in place and remove the packaging. Service has been a nightmare. I understand that we are all short-staffed, but waiting 2 weeks to get an appointment then another 2 weeks for the part to be replaced it ridiculous.

    Haven’t needed it so far. Fingers crossed! When I read the fine print of the offer and that it what is useful toward, I was convinced to go ahead and purchase it. I feel like it will be a good value over time if a repair is needed. Also, it covers maintenance items.

    I purchase an occasional extended service plan. I'm glad I did on the last freezer, it went out and we lost almost everything. The only problem was we had over $300. in food and was paid only $200.

    Looks like great coverage, but have not used it for a claim, so I do not have detailed feedback yet. Found it desirable for high ticket items, just in case.

    Abandoned! They do not honor the protection plan!

    I am a front line healthcare worker battling the coronavirus pandemic and father of four. We had the misfortune of buying a Samsung refrigerator from Bestbuy for close to $3000 that has been a real lemon! We have had a dozen service calls since it was new. Fortunately we bought the geek squad protection plan. Unfortunately our refrigerator has had no cooling for two weeks and the geek squad cannot come out to repair it due to the pandemic. This is the fourth service call for no cooling. BestBuy and the geek squad have abandoned us. Instead of replacing this lemon of a refrigerator, they said it has to be repaired (AGAIN!) but they cannot come out to repair it because of the pandemic. They even suggested for me to hire my own repairman and submit the bill, however, this too is impossible given the pandemic. As a result I am left without a working refrigerator while trying to limit unnecessary trips to the store. I am left battling both the coronavirus pandemic and BestBuy/geek squad. BestBuy and the geek squad need to stand behind their products (refrigerator and insurance) and do what is both right/fair and replace my defective refrigerator!
