Greatly appreciate the 3 year standard Geek Squad protection plan to have Best Buy support for products and services!

I did purchase the extended geek squad protection plan for my fridge. I honestly hope I never have to use it, but it gives me peace of mind to know I have it.

The agents transported and installed the product..

The shelves are not as sturdy as my old refrigerator.

I love the fact that I purchased this extra protection, the ice maker broke and I was able to get it fixed. The coronavirus added a hick up, but Ingot it done.

A must for large scale devices bought at Bet Buy! Their Geek Squad service is what keeps me coming back to Best Buy, and not to Amazon.

As I've said on these reviews about big purchases, warranties are a must-have. If you don't purchase, you end up paying a lot more for service!

Purchased this stainless steel refrigerator for my house in California. The refrigerator was beautiful and added value to my house.

Before I purchased my new LG refrigerator on 6/15/25, I spoke with a Best Buy customer service agent who assured me that, if I purchased a 5-year GS protection plan and something happened during the manufacturer's 1-year warranty period, GS would send out the repairman, who would make any necessary repairs and then deal with LG on my behalf. I had asked about this specifically because I had read several reviews about LG refrigerator compressors going out early and that the LG warranty service was horrible. My refrigerator has started making a loud noise, and GS tells me that I must go through LG and that they will not service the refrigerator until the LG warranty expires. Either Best Buy has trained their employees to misrepresent the terms of the protection, or their employees have not received correct training. Be warned!

Excellent Service!!! No doubt about it. We had issues with Refrigerator and dryer, Geek Squad technicians fixed all these issues with no charge.

They did a professional job as expected. What is also appreciated is that they installed it in a timely manner as well as explained some of the features.

Haven't had to use yet, but it was very easy to purchase.

Great deal on the protection plan. BestBuy has great service and now my Mom doesn’t have to worry...if something goes wrong BestBuy will fix it.
