Appreciate the fast and smooth delivery.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a refrigerator from Best Buy, and the entire experience—from browsing to delivery—was smooth and professional. The website made it easy to compare models, and I found one that fit my kitchen perfectly. The delivery team was punctual, courteous, and installed the fridge with care. The fridge itself is fantastic: quiet, energy-efficient, and spacious. I especially love the adjustable shelves and the sleek stainless steel finish. It’s made a noticeable difference in food freshness and organization. Highly recommend Best Buy for major appliances—great selection, fair pricing, and excellent customer service!

Good Refrigerator!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were in desperate need for a new refrigerator as our LG compressor went out for a second time. This was a desperate situation to get one right away. Had it delivered and set up for us. It’s a simple refrigerator.but it’s done the job for a couple of years without a problem.

Bought the coverage...you never know...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like most insurances, you buy because you hope you never have to use it. Years ago we bought on a fridge and we were very glad we did, it paid off as it failed within the warranty period and they ended up replacing the entire refrigerator. Now, we hope this doesn't happen with this one, but our new KitchenAid refrigerator is an investor of sorts, so we did buy the protection. The Floor Manager at our local Best Buy was terrific. Not pushy, but informative. Thanks Best Buy...hope we don't need this but we'll sleep a little better knowing we have it.

Geek Squad Always Makes Sense With ALLMy Purchases
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We never leave Best Buy without it! We get it with all of our purchases because we know it works, and the refrigerator we purchased is no exception. This plan includes key benefits such as failure protection from power surges, comprehensive coverage for parts and labor, and up to $300 for spoiled food and medication per event, although it does not cover spoilage due to power outages. I advocate that you purchase a surge protector, but I LOVE that power surges are covered. Noteworthy is the in-home repair service, which adds convenience by having technicians come to your home for necessary repairs or replacements. Additionally, the plan covers failures from normal wear and tear and even damage from lightning strikes. The flexibility of transferring the protection plan to a new owner without extra charges enhances the resale value of your appliance. If a replacement is necessary, reinstallation is included if initially installed by Geek Squad. Overall, the Geek Squad Protection Plan is a worthwhile investment for extended security and peace of mind, making it particularly valuable for owners of high-end appliances.

Faulty refrigerator replaced!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I highly recommend the Geek Squad Protection purchase for all appliances. They have been very responsive if I need a repair and in the case of an LG refrigerator and attempting multiple repairs of the same nature, my refrigerator was replaced at no charge.

Peace of Mind
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never had to use it, but was glad to know it was there. GE only offers 1 year parts and labor, so have five years coverage was good.

Good but not as great as prior models
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this fridge to replace our last KitchenAid fridge which lasted us 16 years. This was closest in design to our last fridge but for some reason came with less shelves on the fridge and freezer sides. Additional shelves must be purchased separately when the older models came with all the shelves which is ridiculous as there are clearly grooves for the missing shelves. Also the ice maker in the freezer is obnoxiously loud when making ice. Our prior fridge was never this loud. Overall the fridge is ok but we much prefer the older model. Picked KitchenAid since our last one gave us 16 years. Hopefully this one has a long life as well.

Appointment scheduling needs to improve
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The agent was professional and knowledgeable. But the call center need to improve. My appointment got rescheduled twice. The second one they only gave me 7a to 7p window. I called several times to get the narrow 4 hour window, they chorister give me an anwer, they also confirm that the tech will be there. Nobody showed. It was a weekday. Meaning, we the customers have jobs too. This is so disrespectful and bad customer service. The way appointments are set up needs updating.

Peace of mind protection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased because I have had an issue with an ice maker on a previous refrigerator that would have cost half of the purchase price to fix if it wasn't still under warranty. Got it for peace of mind on this unit, even though I haven't had to use it.

Didn’t Want It. Wife Insisted. Glad She Did.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I bought the fridge, I was ready to skip the service plan. I’ve never been a fan of throwing money at “what ifs.” But my wife talked me into it—$139 for peace of mind. Fast forward: six months before the warranty’s up, the ice machine calls it quits. Total repair cost? $420. The plan covered every cent. So yeah, I’ll admit it. The plan paid for itself three times over, and I didn’t have to lift a wrench or argue with a tech. It wasn’t just a good deal—it was a smart call. Props to my wife.

Food spoilage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far they're fixing it when they need to. Don't know about the reimbursement of the foods. Foliage won't know until after I submit it, but so far satisfactory unfortunately they have canceled so I've been able to use my freezer too much more refrigerator, so we'll have to see how the food spoilage reimbursement comes about

Noisy, pretty looking, not a whole lot of features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll admit I should have shopped around a little more before settling on this refrigerator being as finicky as I am about refrigerator noise. 3 main things I really wanted: (1) Quiet or silent, this thing is noisy! (2) 3/4 sized for less space, that it is. (3) Stylish design, the high gloss black with stainless trim is very nice looking. This open-box seemed like a deal (( ended up spending a little more because I though a big brand name would mean quality )), but I feel like I really should have just gone with the other lesser known brands I was looking at where the reviews said the units were SILENT and you couldn't even tell they was running. In this day and age there's no reason a big brand like Whirlpool can't make a silent fridge, even at this lower price bracket with a list price just under $500. I have a mini GE and it's 95% silent. The only good thing about this unit is that it's pretty efficient so the compressor doesn't come on a whole lot, but when it does you can surely hear it running. I've lived in many apartments that had similar sized refrigerators and they were all silent. I have this unit sitting in an open space in a spare room, I imagine an enclosure might make it slightly quieter, but not much. I'm considering buying some fire proof noise foam panels to cover the back opening where the generator is exposed to try and dampen the hum and buzzing noise. Having it in my storage room is its only saving grace since I don't have to listen to it in my living room, otherwise I would have dealt with the hassle of returning this thing. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and will just deal with it. PROS: - Stylish and modern looking, nice glossy black mirror finish with stainless trim. - Reversible doors. - Nice 3/4 size. - No frost freezer. - Fairly roomy for the size. CONS: - Noisy, has a slight buzz/hum when compressor is running, you can definitely hear it from a next door room. Annoying! - No light in freezer. - Fridge light automatically shuts off after a minute. How annoying, I often rummage through a fridge much longer, so I have to tap the switch to turn the light back on. - No temperature dial, it's controlled with three little snow icons. Just use a dial, they work. No independent control of freezer temperature, it's all balanced through the main control. Luckily at its max setting things are cold enough. At the lower default temperature the fridge main area isn't cool enough. So put it at max. - The main door doesn't stay open at full exposure, which you need to slide out the produce drawer. The door always tries to close on you. Annoying! - The produce drawer has no rails, so it just sits on the bottom. - The protective plastic film that covers the doors has to be removed, it's impossible to get it all off around the handles without using a cutting tool like a knife or Exacto blade. The left over bits of plastic look terrible.

Best Buy Protection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Still haven’t had to use the Best Buy warranty. Had to use the manufacturer warranty. They then sent a quote for an extended warranty, which cost more than Best Buy, with less incentives. I’d recommend the warranty on any purchase over $1000
