I purchased the Geek squad protection plan cause three years ago I had brought a Lg refrigerator and it was a piece of crap and my Geek squad protection plan had save me thousands of dollars. So that's why I had purchased the Geek squad protection plan again

It's always better to have protection plan than nothing because you never know if your Refrigerator it's going to break down the road, after I let my old protection plan expire that's what happened to my old fridge after 11 years of service I had no protection plan and the parts are very expensive even if you want to fix it yourself.

This is a great product I should have bought the 13cu ft but this still is amazing.

The guys were very careful in the installation process as they had little room to maneuver in removing the old unit and installing the new unit. Took their time to ensure that no damage would occur during the removal and installation of the new unit.

The installer mounted everything and all is well, 5 years plan extended wrty seems good.

Bought my refrigerator open box and add the warranty. After 2 years I had a problem with the water filter, I call, 1 or 2 days after the show up after 1hour done. They replace the part with 0zero cust and my refrigerator is up and running like a charm:)

I would recommend extend warranty to anyone buying anything over one hundred dollars because boom you get it replaced just like that and then you just purchase another warranty for the new product. You just never know when something will break

I purchased a refrigerator a little over a year ago and unfortunately began having issues with the ice machine. Of course theres never good timing for unexpected expenses. Thankfully with this protection I was able to get it repaired free of charge. Definitely recommend for a piece of mind when making bigger purchases.

I just got a 3-year protection for my LG refrigerator, and will renew it before it's expiration. If something goes wrong, I am confident that Geek Squad will be easy to contact with for any questions or help that I need.

Beware of these service plans, these types of "warranties" seem harder and harder to use. I have normally purchased my large appliances from Best Buy because of the service plans, but I am considering going elsewhere in the future. Fridge has been having an issue and I called to get the fridge serviced, they tell me that the fridge has a warranty with the manufacturer for 10 years parts and 5 years labor. I spent two hours trying to get ahold of Whirlpool and finally talking to them they confirm that but the warranty does not cover the service call to see what is wrong with the fridge, so I am geek squad tells me this time they won't authorize the service call without a RMA number that I need to get from the manufacturer, so I have to waste more time now to get this information. I was a big believer of Best Buy and Geek Squad, this has changed by this whole experience.

I haven't used them yet for my refrigerator but for other purchases I have & they're great knows what they're doing

It’s always good to get an extended warranty. With the purchase of my new upright freezer during COVID it was a no brainer. Not only am I good for 5 years if something goes but the warranty covers spoil food too (up to a certain amount).

The specs were perfect. The refrigerator fit exactly where I wanted it to, it looks sharp, and there is pleanty of space on both sides
