warranty not worth the time lost of use

Warranty

Very hard to get an technician on the phone.

Had another Lon wat for representative. Earliest appointment was a week later. Technician from Dependable who came told me Best Buy installed inflexible exhaust hose for dryer which should have been a flex hose. He then said he did not replace hoses. Fortunately he was able to reattach existing hose. I’m very disappointed in the service.

I had to pay my new tv installation recently and I had to pay my cooktop repair 2 months ago So does it worth it ?

Washer appointment

High-Efficiency Smart Combo Electric Washer & Dryer with Ventless Heat Pump Technology - Carbon Graphite. Guy had no idea what he was doing. Was at my house for about 5 mins. He just said it's normal to take hours to dry for this type of machine. If I didn't have the warranty this lack luster visit would have cost me 125 dollars.

The first time I called to have someone come out and fix it and they didn't show up. A second appointment was scheduled and they didn't show up. Then, out of the blue, someone from A & E Whatever shows up unannounced and without an appointment two weeks later. I am never, ever getting Geek Squad protection. They can't deliver the service. The person who shows up will be some third-party "partner."

Geek Squad Really Doesn't Care About You
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had problems getting my refund/exchange done by several agents. It was a "pass the buck" type thing. My original purchase of the broken Insignia washer was on 8-2-21 and the exchange was done on 8-15-21. I received my new Samsung on 9-8-21. I was given a compensation of one amount and then the next Geek Squad agent and his manager on the day of delivery refused to honor the prior Geek Squad agents amount. They blamed the computer system for the much lower compensation. They told me I would receive a call back once the washer showed as delivered in the system. That was two days ago. No call back and no compensation. If I could give them a 0 star rating, I'd do it twice

Horrible - Waste of money

We purchased a washing machine and the geek squad 3 year. the washer does not work at all, and they will not help whatsoever since it is under the manufacture warranty. we have went back and forth with the manufacture trying different things for 2 months and the geek squad will not help. A waste of $200!

Geeksquad services

I took Geeksquad protection for 3 yrs. my washing machine stop working on July 1 st week and and I called Geeksquad and technician came and cannot fix the problem. Geek squad technician gave third party contractor number to fix it. They came few time and couldn’t fix it. Now one month is over still washing machine is not working. Worst service from geek squad.. I never recommend it

BESTBUY LIES TO CUSTOMERS!

Was told the protection plan would be refunded this time so I added it again now they say they can’t refund it! Nothing but liars and thieves at WorstBuy! The call was recorded so they can verify I was told it would be refunded but they still won’t because they said it was misinformation!

Never using them again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Payed for a new washing machine & It arrived broken after installing it wouldn’t work so they replaced it a week later with an LG washer but canceld my warranty with out my knowledge. Claimed they didn’t know I still wanted the warranty, of course I wanted the warranty I just wanted a brand new washing machine that actually worked now a year later the washing machine had stopped working and there nothing I can do about it. Agent admitted it was a mistake on Best Buy but there’s nothing they can do about it.

Geek squad is terrible

ALL I NEED IS A REPAIRMAN TO COME FIX IT OR JUST REPLACE IT! I’ve been put on hold so much! Same steps 4 different times 4 different people all say the same thing. SOMEONE WILL CALL YOU just wait 6-48 hours EVERY TIME.
