Had to replace my wt1101 (3.5 years old) with the wt1501. Did not have warranty for the wt1101, so I did this time and hope we will not need to use.

This Geek squad warranty sold by best buy is useless and should be considered fraudulent practice. We had three years extended warranty on a washer. When it stopped working Best buy - agreed to send a technician in 1 week time who turned out to be a third party technician as they didn't have Geek squad guy available- apparently they had one guy who takes care of whole 3 counties and can't come in in two weeks. They guy told us that pump was broken and he has to order it and it will take another two weeks. Then we called back to best buy - and was told to do another diagnostic and they claimed they don't have any records of what was done before. They guy simply refuse to come in. We called samsung finally and they repaired it with in 2 days with cost of $250.00. Geek Squad warranty is fraud squad warranty. DON'T BUY. I will never buy appliances again from best buy. And if I ever do I will buy extended warranty from manufacturer directly

Definitely get the protection plan for this product. It really comes in handy if something goes wrong.

So excited about this warranty, super cheap for a great deal. Although I hope I will never have to use it lol

Did not notice that this was a high efficiency unit. Normal Cycle is 90+ minutes...uses less water but needs 3 times the electricity to complete a cycle. Plus we need to add scent boosters to get that clean scent. If you keep the load size small that helps.. But I have 3 kids, bought to save time washing fewer loads.. For the price, not impressed. It does alert your phone, if set up, at end of cycle which I love.

This washer and dryer have been working just fine. I would buy them again if I needed another one.
