They only cover installation/delivery with repairs/replacements if you purchased the installation/delivery with the original purchase. They require you purchase new hookups for them to install. A bit annoying but understandable. It's a bit too early to tell on the service for the protection but I've had good experiences thus far with other geek squad coverage.

Great in case you have a accident. Have it Just in case. Fixes everything.

This is a must when purchasing a big ticket item like a tv or something

I purchased a 3-year plan on an Insignia dryer originally June 15, 2021, and then a repurchase related to a return on July 5, 2021. Due to shipping/backorder issues, I purchased a GE dryer on 11/17/2021. I thought the 3-year plan could easily be transferred to the GE dryer. I was told I have a 14-day window to "purchase" a plan for the GE. Problem is I have already "purchased" a plan many months ago. I have NOT received a refund of $74.99 a week out from delivery on 11/23/2021 of the new GE and return of the defective Insignia. So 7-days have already expired on my 14-day window. I do not want to pay for a Plan twice. Best Buy needs to reimburse my $74.99, so I can repurchase a plan for the GE before my time is up on the purchase window! As far as recommending Geek Squad to a Friend, at this time, I would have to answer "No" until my problem is remedied with a refund.

Best Buy price matched the 5 year product protection from another retailer.

For five years they'll cover most anything. It's well worth the cost.

I hope I won't need to use this but it is very reassuring to know it's there!
