Reasonably priced warranty for my washing machine.

Got this for my washer and dryer set less than 2 years ago. Apparently it's "not that kind of protection plan", after refusing to even come out and look at it they refused to cover it stating the 50 or so loads were just too much for a dryer to handle. They then claimed without looking at it that constant power surges due to poor electric system fried it. Only problem is it's a 2 year old home in 3 year old neighborhood....and I have Ting witch monitors for electrical surges. None have ever been detected in my house...

This warranty is a nigthmare. i had an appointment about two weeks ago for Friday 15th 12:00 - 5:00pm. and the repair man was a no show/no call. I called best buy customer service who had me on the phone for over 4 hours transferring me to different departments. They finally reschedule my appointment for june 19. The repairman comes by himself which is another big issue i told the reps repeatedly my washer and dryer are stacked. I had to send someone to my house to help him take down the dryer. I also had to have someone else disconnect the dryer. I have to now wait another week for the part to come in. It taking close to 4 weeks to repair this washer. I don't understand what this warranty covers. I've been a Elite plus member for over fours years. That's ending this year. I will never buy warranty from this company again.

Haven't had any need for it yet, and hopefully never will.

The lid lock went out on our LG washer. Called Geek Squad for repair. The repairs are done by a 3rd party. Technician came out, took pictures of the model and serial number and said he would have to order parts. It has been two weeks and still not parts. I have called the 3rd party (Goodman Networks) with no luck. Every time I am told parts are not in yet. They can not give me an idea to when the parts will be in, or even offer to find out what the status is. I called Geek Squad to see if they could get information from Goodman, but all they could tell me was Goodman had ordered parts. So here we sit, broken washer, no parts, no idea of when it will be repaired and no one at Geek Squad or Goodman Networks can help. Not a good experience. Should not take over two weeks to get a washer repaired. Why pay for a protection plan if you can't get timely service
