Currently on hold with with best buy as i type this. This will be my 7th attempt at trying to get someone to come out and check the washer, getting run around and missing work because of geek squad incompetence. Seriously please do not buy extended warranty, u was told that it was simple just call or stop buy best buy geek squad desk and they will take care of it. Turns of best buy just sells warranty but its for third party. Its false advertising calling it geek squad warranty, when it has nothing to do with geek squad.

Bought this with my Maytag washer. Geeks couldn’t fix it. They wanted me to wait 2 weeks for a subcontractor repair man so I just returned it

I bought the five year warranty but found out that the first years under the manufactur and also it is a $99 flat fee for them to just come and look at it no matter what is wrong with it

Have not yet needed any repairs but good to have in place.

In Jan 2024, we purchased a GE Profile washer/dryer at Best Buy along with a 5 year warranty policy. When a problem emerged with the washer/dryer, we attempted to use our warranty and Best Buy said our warranty was cancelled with no notification or reason why the warranty was cancelled. The warranty cost was refunded to our Best Buy credit card without any notification. When we attempted to clear this up, Best Buy refused to honor the warranty or accept the payment.

This was my decision based on store sale men recomendation

Absolutely the worst and a total waste of money. Made 2 appointments to have by Samsung Dryer repaired, not even 2 years old...which is junk as with many products made by Samsung. Part of why I purchased the Geek Squad protection. Both of those appointments were cancelled by whomever at Best Buy without my knowledge. The last attempt, despite getting a confirmation text, no one bothered to show up to repair the dry nor did anyone give me a courstesy call to notify me of the cancellation. These 2 attempts don't include chatting on line with an "agent", whome claimed they made an appointment. When I called Best Buy they had NO record of an appointment being made. My next step if they fail to show again, which I am confident they likely won't show, is to contact the BBB. Save your money folks.

Repair Service call has been cancelled TWICE without notice or explanation! It has been over 3 weeks since my initial request for a dryer that is not drying... Very frustrated and dissatisfied thus far.
