Haven't used the service yet but will rate it if I do

I had a warranty and was happy to be protected for 5 years. A little over three years our washing machine stopped working. It took 2 weeks for a repair person to come tomour house. And then after sn adfitional 10 days and another part ordered, they deemed the washer unfixable. They are replacing the washer but next availble is another two weeks away. We have 6 people in the house and over a month at the laundromat has been expensive. Had i gone out on day 1 and bought a new machine i wouldn’t be out any more money than waiting for Best Buy to fulfill their warranty.

Worse experience ever! Never have I ever scheduled an appointment for service to not he given an appointment timeframe until the day of the appointment. Then when asked if I am not available when I receive that timeframe what happens, I was told I would have to call back and waste another hour of my time to try to reschedule and wait another 48 hours for that timeframe. This not acceptable nor does it work for working class people with busy schedules.

I called for my Dryer gasket got tangled with some clothes and when i called the here I was told that there is a 1 month waiting period to get it taken care off, I live 15 minutes from store all he said was let me transfer you directly to Samsung without any words was just sent there, and now is still July 20 my issue has not been resolved yet. all because the guy on Geek would not listen. btw I bought a Washer and Dryer both with Geek coverage I hope I did not make a mistake wasting my money.

I haven't had to use it yet but am glad it's there.

It’s really 4 years. The first year BB refers you right back to the manufacturer’s warranty. Where does BB get off calling it 5 years??

after having terrible events happen with best buy and the insurances protection plan, and items, i believe that best buy has a good idea and how they want to follow through the warranty that patrons purchase, but do people want to purchase a washer and dryer again from best buy after getting terrible customer service, damage to his property from installation and neglect from technicians much needed service. worst part is that this has not been the only item or time that best buy has not followed through with the geek squad protection plan at all.

You never now when you will need it. It's a myst have.

The washer looks nice but when it washes it just washes different than others and im not liking it as much as i wanted to.

Washers are expensive. Makes sense to insure them.

Bought a Maytag Washer 04/13/2022. A week ago on 11/13/2024, about 3 years later Washer would not work. Got an error code F7E1, to call repair. So I called Geek Squad because I had a 5 yr. Warranty protection. Said it would take one week. They arrived a week later and said it would take another week to get part and said no guarentee that part Main Control Broard would fix it, only it would give them information needed to fix it. Now we can't wash for another week, it not longer. I will never buy a warranty from Best Buy again.

been with out use of my washing machine since june they tried to fix, well that didnt work so now i am waiting till october 16 2025 for delivery on a replacement 4 months without a washing machine, ridiculous.

THE MOST ABSURD SERVICE EVER! We had this product less than 30 days and called because it was not working and wanted a refund or replacement of another set. Best Buy said to wait for their call from sending it up to upper management. When the call came, they said we are sorry it's 3 DAYS PAST YOUR WARRANTY! WHAT? We called you before that. Every tech has been to fix it now for the 7th time in less than a year and it still doesn't work. This company will never purchase another product so much as a USB charger cord. I don't care if I am dying of thirst, and they are outside giving away water...NO WAY. THE RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Not sure why I bought this, I still haven't use it yet. Let hope if I do it will cover.
