Bought garbage, protected by garbage

Horrible horrible

First they canceled my appointment 3 times to come look at it so I lost a total of 3 days work. Getting to talk to a supervisor is absolutely impossible then wanted to order a part without even looking at it. Comes and lifts lid and leaves takes another week for part to come and then I have to schedule another app so another day off work

Never using them again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Payed for a new washing machine & It arrived broken after installing it wouldn’t work so they replaced it a week later with an LG washer but canceld my warranty with out my knowledge. Claimed they didn’t know I still wanted the warranty, of course I wanted the warranty I just wanted a brand new washing machine that actually worked now a year later the washing machine had stopped working and there nothing I can do about it. Agent admitted it was a mistake on Best Buy but there’s nothing they can do about it.

Geek Squad Really Doesn't Care About You

My original purchase of the broken Insignia washer was on 8-2-21 and the exchange was done on 8-15-21. I received my new Samsung on 9-8-21. I was given a compensation of one amount and then the next Geek Squad agent and his manager on the day of delivery refused to honor the prior Geek Squad agents amount. They blamed the computer system for the much lower compensation. They told me I would receive a call back once the washer showed as delivered in the system. That was two days ago. No call back and no compensation. If I could give them a 0 star rating, I'd do it twice

Warning! Don't pay for the extended warranty.

The first time I called to have someone come out and fix it and they didn't show up. A second appointment was scheduled and they didn't show up. Then, out of the blue, someone from A & E Whatever shows up unannounced and without an appointment two weeks later. I am never, ever getting Geek Squad protection. They can't deliver the service. The person who shows up will be some third-party "partner."

Geeksquad services

I took Geeksquad protection for 3 yrs. my washing machine stop working on July 1 st week and and I called Geeksquad and technician came and cannot fix the problem. Geek squad technician gave third party contractor number to fix it. They came few time and couldn’t fix it. Now one month is over still washing machine is not working. Worst service from geek squad.. I never recommend it

Absolutely unprofessional

Making it a fire and safety hazard for months as the customer had to store Best Buy’s defective item. They made me waste hours at a time to schedule at least 7 pick up appointments to cancel day of, never show up, call and say they were on the way yet they never showed. The customer service reps hang up on you.

We know noises come from a malfunction or natural sources. This is a washing machine. Brakes makes noise you check to see the cause. They did not bother to come and see the cause of the noise…

Called the company they said unplug and start it up again. Didn't work. Get the run around trying to get it fixed. Called Geek Squad they told me to bring back to the store. REALLY what kind of answer is that. I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A GEEK SQUAD PLAN IF THAT WAS THE ANSWER,

BESTBUY RUNNING WARRENTY SCAM

I will never go or recommend Best Buy to anyone. Writing a terrible review anywhere I can. I am still with out a resolution. He cane and installed it and never checked it. Had him come back and he said he took care if it and never even turned the water on or checked it. Was still leaking bad and flooded my apt. Never again. Best Buy is the worst

Cancellation without input and now no proof.

Please note that the item was indeed delivered and at my home. They also cancelled my installation instead of rescheduling. All of which is absurd. Now my I've had to repurchase and the protection plan is not showing on my account.

I even asked the rep "so what's the point of buying this?" all she could say was "yeah, I get that question a lot..." As far as I can tell, I purchased a protection plan that doesn't cover anything. Samsung will then lose your support case multiple times and you're left with a broken, new washer.
