Our washer began making crazy noises after a couple of years. I called Best Buy and a tech came out to assess it within a couple of days. A day later, I received notification my washer would be replaced. It will be here in two days. Amazing, quick painless Customer Service all around!

I hope I don't need to use Geek Squad for my purchase. If I do need to use them, I know I'm in good hands.

The warranties are affordable and worth the money.

Purchased the optional 5-yr extended warranty for my LG clothes dryer purchased in 11/2019. I have had to call Geek Squad for a non-functioning sensor drying issue 3 times! The third instance this February triggered their no-lemon policy clause which alerts them to automatically replace this for a new like unit or one of your choice. I ended up choosing a different brand dryer and again purchasing the extended warranty. This saved us from puchasing another dryer for approx. $900.

I bought this protection for my new washing machine which is the Maytag. It came with its own manufacturer warranty. That's all good and finding dandy but I wanted extra protection. Cost me over a hundred and something dollars but it was worth it to me.

My first machine didn't work properly so they replaced it with a brand new one.

This is not the first 5 year protection plan I have bought through Best Buy. I recommend the 5 year. It seems most appliances need repair between year 3 and year 5, so I do not recommend paying for 3 years or less. I have found by experience that the 5 years pays for itself since service calls are usually around the amount of the protection plan and that is just for someone to tell you what is wrong with your appliance.

I am basing this review on my past experiences with Best Buy Geek Squad dealings. Most appliance warranties are basic and short. These Geek Squad warranties are much more inclusive and save you from often exasperating dealings with the manufacturer. Geek Squad representatives commonly answer even the most obscure questions and never make one feel like they are stupid, lol. More importantly, they cover much more and continue after the manufacturer warranty. In my past experiences, Geek Squad warranties are much more comprehensive and easier to work with than Assurion or Allstate for example. You can only get them f you purchase your covered item from Best Buy buy I find they usually have comparable or lower prices than their competition. Also, they offer price difference rebates if they or someone local puts the item on sale for a lower price Best Buy refunds the difference in price. They just refund the difference!

I’m giving this 5 stars not because I’ve had to use it already, simply because I have used these enough in the past and I swear by them. I have never had an issue with the geek squad.

I recently purchased the 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection for my new Dryer and I am extremely pleased with the coverage. Had a problem with my first washing machine we bought and Best Buy stepped right up with my warranty and delivered a new one hooked it up and all is good.

The Geek Squad is the BEST! Haven't needed them so far since my washer & dryer are only a couple of months old but we also bought to LG smart T.V.s from Best Buy and when my husband had a problem with his new set less than a week after getting it, they came right out & replaced it.
