Best buy decided to cancel my protection plan on a replacement product without any form of communication on the matter. Now my dishwasher needs service and nit protection plan...they refunded for some off reason. Thanks Geek Squad.

Geek Squad won't even speak to you if it's less than one year under the manufacturer's warranty. If you have a one year warranty from manufacturer than you only get 4 years coverage from the Geek Squad. rip off!

I have been trying to get my stove cancelled for a month. There’s always a part missing or the wrong part was sent. It still isn’t fixed…

Called to have my dishwasher serviced. My appliance is still under manufacture warranty, but the manufacturer will charge for a tech to come out. Why am I paying for geek squad protection during the 1st year? When I tried speaking with the supervisor about this, she spoke over me and blatantly hung up on me.

Have not been required to use it as of yet. All good

The technicians are not like before . Attitude issues And if you get 3rd party your appliance will be permenantly damaged .

If you would like to be without a dishwasher Or any other appliance for 6 weeks before geek squad will replace your dishwasher, I would Not suggest you purchase the geek squad insurance. Very poor customer service on Best Buy’s part. I will purchase my future appliances else where.

always get extra protection on large applainces at a good price

Not sure if they will visit if unit fails. Contract too small to read.

Will not get help if needed. Becaue of Coronavirus, understand. Paid for it, but now will have to pay if anything breaks down.

I cannot rate this until my 2 year manufacture's warranty is up. I did call for help on 8/18/21 for help and was told to contact the manufacture's customer service department.

Marketing scam, they call it a 3-year protection but the first year is only covered by the manufacturer. So your really paying for 2 years after the first year. Very unhappy to find this out and no one made this clear until after the fact. Unfortunate that they resort to this type of misrepresentation.

Best Buy installed a new dishwasher that was defective. They were supposed to order and install a replacement. We have been waiting for 3 weeks with no follow up by them. Terrible customer service. We finally had to call again to get them to order a replacement dishwasher and schedule installation.

The refrigerator from the first couple of months the ice maker freezes over. Unable to make ice. Having a he ice maker inside the refrigerator section instead of the freezer section is a horrible design.

They had to do it twice because it didn’t have room to open the microwave door all the way the fist time. I was lucky to catch it. This left three extra holes in my cabinet.

I won't pay for protection on electronics again since it's always been a hassle hope it's easy with appliances. Knock on wood, hope I don't need it.

Waste of money. Paid fir a five year plan, and both repairs happened after 30 days and was referred to the manufacturer. Geek Squard doesn't start covering untill after the 1st year of the Manufacturer warranty. You oay for a 5 year geek squad and get 4 years.

I can't get anyone to answer or return my call. I have been trying for months. I even went to the store. No one cares. Don't waste your money on this.

Ice maker frosts then freezes. It is a known issue but no one really seems to have a fix for it.

My dishwasher broke several times. When it was due for a replacement under the terms, customer service was rude and refused to honor the contract initially. I emailed the management, and apparently they approved the replacement, but no one ever called to tell me that. I only learned because I called back myself. I had a water heater need replacement under a different company, and they honored it easily with no issues. Everyone price matches these days, so companies should remember that poor customer service leads to lost customers.
