This movie is a great followup to the first one. They incorporated other events that were happening during the slaying of the 300 spartans from the first movie. The blood pouring from the injured was a little to unreal for me but overall great movie! I just wish it was longer.

Excellent movie and the cinematography was fantastic. The price is right especially if you purchase the Blu-Ray within the first week it comes out. In addition, you receive many extras with the Blu-Ray purchase such as Blu-Ray disc, the standard DVD disc and the digital copy.

It is tough to follow-up the original "300" movie, so I understand why people had issues with this movie. However, this movie is amazing in its own right, and I would recommend anyone to see it. Great movie, and even better acting. Special effects are pretty good too. :)

At first I was a little wary of this film. After Leonidas died in the end of the first 300 film, I wasn't sure how these new warriors would stack up to him and his 300. But the film was actually just as good as the first 300. It has action, it has blood, and it rocks!

If you liked the 1st movie, 300, then you'll like this one. While I think it would have been beneficial to watch 300 again to refreshen the memory, it's not necessary. Lots of blood and slaying going on. There is a scene in the movie that is definitely not kid-appropriate.

This was a great movie. We got it at a great price. Blue ray is all we get now to add to our collection. Great action great music was great the acting was great

Most of the time a part 2 movie is not as good as the first one. The second 300 "Rise Of An Empire" was so much better. The effects were crazy and more action. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone. I am hoping they come out with a 3rd 300.

If you liked the style of 300, you'll love this movie. It's not as good as the original, but it can still be a great movie for entertainment on a Friday night.

I really enjoyed this movie but not more than the first one. Graphics are awesome better than the first one. Movie's story line isn't as good as the first one.

This was a really good film if you had loyalty to the first 300 with Gerard Butler. This story line was written so that you didn't have G. Butler on the brain.

I like the fact that 300: RoaE picks up at the exact point that ends in the first 300 film. Lots of action and the women in the film are absolutely NO joke!!!

This one held my interest and was done in the same vein as the original. Not as big a cast, but still worth a watch or purchase if you're a completist.

This sequel to 300 is much better than I anticipated. Eva Green MAKES this movie, she totally sells it. The 3D is pretty good as well. Well worth a purchase.

If a fan of the first film you should at least give it a watch. Feels in a little of the backstory but fails in replicating what made the first 300 so good.

I didn't get a chance to see this in theaters but I was pleasantly surprised because I really liked the first one. Sequel was worth the price of the movie.

This was a very good movie. I rented originally and i had to have for my collection. This is the type of movie that you really need to see several times.

Rise of an Empire might have been essentially more of the same, but for one distinction that makes it 300 times better than its predecessor: Mere mortals of Athens, Sparta, and every city from Mumbai to Minneapolis, behold the magnificent Eva Green, and tremble!

I enjoyed the action and am a 300 fan, so it didn't take me long to figure out the plot and how the movie was beginning. Overall pretty good action movie.
