Movie was well done I believe they spent more time and effort on the graphics and the gore than they did on making it a good movie... Great graphics an awesome fights but the story just wasn't that great...

Great Action Movie. If you liked 300 you will like this one (just not as much). The movie is stylized like 300 but now so is everything else causing it to lose some of it's wow factor. Still a good movie

The 3-D version is a blast to watch. The stylized graphic violence is at the forefront and at times can be overwhelming. The story is somewhat weak but the special effects makes up for an average plot.

Saw this at the theater, haven't watched blu-ray yet though. If your a fan of the 1st film I highly recommend it. Was hoping for a steelbook but no such luck although I think Future Shop received one.

I loved 300 and this is a good prequel(?) to that. It mostly runs along the same timeline as 300, so not sure what to consider it. A lot of brutality and the same cinematography as 300. I enjoyed it.

Somewhat underrated and almost unheard of, but you get to see the other side of Greece and how they have an amazing story and influence against King Xerxes’s army I hope Best Buy sells this movie in Steelbook edition!

WOW! An excellent sequel to the first movie. This is not only action packed, but the story is well conceived. All the characters are interesting and the actors demonstrate quality talent. The visuals are amazing! Eva Green....what can I say.... VERY HOT! In my opinion, I liked this movie better than the original '300' movie.

This movie is a prequel/sequel to the first 300 movie. The first half of the movie is a prequel of what lead up to the first 300 movie and the second half is a sequel showing ancient naval battles.

Definitely a good story and follow up from first 300 movie. You definitely need to see the first one to make sure you know everything that is going on and why. Great action and awesome scenes that were realistic. I cannot wait for the third installment of this series. Hope the key stars remain the same in the next one.

This was a good followup to the original 300 movie. It goes back and forth between the 1st movie and this one, setting up events which occurred in both movies. Different prospective from the attackers point of view. Good action,effects,and cinema on blue ray. If you like the first movie and have not seen this, buy it.

This movie has a semi parallel timeline to the original. If you like: hyper-stylized, slo-motion violence, flying bodies, spewing blood, epic music, giant battles, buff actors, sexy actresses.

This sequel links into the original 300 and continues the battle with Zerksis. It follows the Athenians and how they used their fleet of ships to attack and outwit the enemy. I believe there is even more bloodshed than the original...if that's possible. The acting could have been better, but still an enjoyable film.

This movie gives you a glimpse in to the ruthless barbarian and mystical world of primitive war. Only the best survive and they do so with God like skills. In the end it had me craving more.

Great film keeps inline with the same style from the original 300 and all as well. Cinematic, Acting, Narrating and all else are the same for the most part. Narrating in this film is done by the queen, though this one is more based on Athens than Sparta and set as a different point of view from the original 300.

In my opinion, this is just as good as the 300!!! Awesome CGI...the acting is on point and the action is outstanding...Just bought it a couple days ago and i've alreasy watched it twice. I love how they connected both movies in this film....This is one of the best action flicks of 2014!!!! A definite must have.

A decent film overall but it just doesn't even compare to the first 300. All the actors do a great job, the film faulters in its cgi. Some scenes are painfully over used on cgi. overall its a good movie that doesn't quite capture the same magic the first one had, but it's still worth the watch.

Although not a real study of history, a decent follow-up to 300. Certainly tries to encapsulate the events before and after the battle of Thermopylae but that's not why you're watching it.

I didn't think this movie was as good as the first. I felt that the acting was ok and the plot was weak. The special effects were very good. It was an ok actiion movie, but not outsanding.

Great sequel to the first. They did a good job interjecting this with the first. Very bloody and pretty explicit sensual scenes but a good lesson on some of the history.
