Excellent movie if you are a fan of 300 story. Very good sequel with good following from the first movie. It is a little slow at the begining but pick up real quick after the first 15 minutes. The action and battle sequences are awesome!

This movie compares to first movie not better but entertaining. Eva Green was by far the star of this movie she made this movie epic.

Plots not the best but the action is intense and well shot . I would have to say they did a good job of making it go along with the first movie and often mention that it is in the same time frames only mostly deals with the sea battles

First one was a movie to see for the ages. Excited to watch the second one. Not as good as the first but still worth the purchase!

If you enjoyed the 300 then you'll love Rise of an empire. The bluray shows extreme detail that wasn't seen in theatres. A must buy.

I bought this 3D Blu-Ray as I really liked 300. I think the sequel is a better produced movie, with excellent 3D picture and sound.

Not as good as the first one but entertaining nonetheless....Have to like war and action to enjoy this one...lots of blood!

THIS IS NOT A 2ND MOVIE BUT A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW FROM THE OTHER ARMY SIDE. IT'S STILL A GREAT MOVIE. LOTS BATTLE SCENES & A REALLY HOT GIRL ON GUY PART. LOL. GOTTA WATCH THIS WITH SURROUND SOUND. REALLY BRINGS THE FIGHT OUT.

Like I said, it is entertaining but Gerald Butler and the rest of original are better actors in my opinion but this was done well.

I knew it wouldn't be better than the first 300, but I cant complain. I was into the movie the whole time. Didn't leave my seat.

If you loved 300, then 300: Rise of an Empire will not disappoint! This movie will leave you hoping for another one to come out.

Yes it's a sequel and some times they're a little hookie, but THIS IS SPARTA. Another great outing for this film enjoyed it as much as the first. Great action, great cinematography, great story. A must have for fans of this series.

This movie was good but not as mind blowing as the original 300. Had many great fight scenes though!

This is the story of what happen to the other Greeks during the great battle against Persia. Eva Green is great in this film.

If you require an intricate plot in your action movies don't stop here. The action is well choreographed and mindlessly violent!

great action movie, I did not miss a scene. I also liked how they combined the first movie with this one hope there is a sequel.

If you like the first movie 300, you will like this fellow up movie. It tells the story after the men lost the battle.

This movie is in a word Awesome! Yes it isn't really a true account of the battle, But if that's what you want watch a documentary. This provides the action movie lover a great time out from everyday life . I highly recommend it
