Very nice picture and good sound.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only have had for a couple of months now and it seems to work flawlessly. One issue we had was trying to figure out how to set the On mode to Cable input instead of going to the Roku screen. Its not in the manual but was easy to find solution on-line through the website. The ROKU streaming APP interface is faster than my Amazon Fire stick we use on other TV's. Have not hooked it to the OTA antenna yet to see how the sensitivity/selectivity of the built in HD receiver is yet. The sound is really good. Good HD audio works very well without need to crank the volume up.

Exceeds all expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this television on sale with very little hopes but was incredibly surprised by how well it functions with antenna and internet combo for live-streaming and local channels. The wifi works better than any other device in the house and it easily connects to my sound-system with the optic cable option (last tv didn't have that). My only complaint is that the remote doesn't have numbers on it to change local channels, but it's not enough of a problem to reduce my rating. Also, picture quality is exceptional with blu-ray, dvd, streaming and local. Great TV!

Excellent smart TV experience for a budget price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this TV on sale for just shy of $200. At that price, it is among the cheapest 1080 TV's available. The integrated Roku experience makes for a seamless smart TV integration, which feels much more natural than Samsung's offerings. The TV quality is good - plenty of brightness, reasonable audio quality, fast boot time, good color. The main drawback is the limitation of Roku channel offerings. Many apps are great (YouTube, Amazon Prime, Pandora) but there are some obvious missing options (Spotify, Tidal), and there is no real way to "cast" from another device.

great TV for low cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this TV for an apartment living room. It works well for the space. It's bigger than a bedroom TV but its not large. It's modest, which is what I wanted. I bought it for the picture quality (1080) which is higher than most other comparably sized/priced TV's. I exclusively watch Netflix and Amazon so it suits my needs perfectly. The remote is definitely odd, which others have commented. If you search for a show/movie by name you have to use up,down, side buttons to scroll through the alphabet which is tedious, but whatever. I am happy with the product and happy with the under $300 price

Great picture, easy controls
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv for my guest room. My parents visit frequently and have a hard time figuring out electronics from this century. I have a roku in the living room, and they knew how to use that remote fairly well, so I figured this TV would be perfect for them. Once I got it all put together and logged in to the Apps, man I was impressed!! What a picture and great sound too!! I thought I would be skimping on these areas due to the price point of the TV, but I was wrong, what a great surprise! Excellent TV and amazing price. Way to step it up Best Buy

Great TV with Roku

Surprising quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I asked an associate for assistance purchasing a TV for mom in home hospice. I had been to BJ's and Costco where I had trouble getting my questions addressed. The young man at Best Buy showed me insignia-he explained it was a private label and pointed out features and "bang for the buck". I had been pretty sold on wanting a Vizio but tried this on his recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised, the picture quality is great and set up was fairly easy, even the apps. The only down sides are the menu was a bit confusing for an older user and it warms up slowly.

Its an ok tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cons-. can only be turned on with their remote. (phone app does not work if tv has been turned off for longer than 12mins) Sound- Isn't that great...on the low side. Roku- freezes up every now and again...that isn't to annoying. Pros- nice size and picture. Price was great! If I had to purchase again I wouldn't. just because it doesn't have the tv controls (on/off switch and input controls) on the actual tv...so if you lose or break the remote your scr*wed.

Great TV for tight spaces with plenty of options!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a TV to fit an entertainment cabinet, picked this one based of the performance/quality/features/value of my first Insignia bought 5+ years ago and still going strong! This TV has great features, a beautiful picture and was nicely priced. The remote is smaller than a traditional remote, but has all the buttons needed and fits nicely in hand while feeling comfortable. Plenty of hookup options, nice modern look and has worked great right out of the box! I would highly recommend this TV for anyone looking for this size.

Great tv for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this during black friday sales. It replaced a 32" CRT tv in our bedroom. I was looking for a smart tv. For the price and the features, it's a great tv. I just wanted to be able to watch youtube, netflix and tv. I haven't explored much into the built in roku features. I currently cannot program my universal control to it. I have to use both controls. Not a big deal for me. I'm planning on buying a couple more for the basement and garage. At this price point, I wouldn't pay $50-$100 more for brand name. The quality won't be better and probably less features.

Nice TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I needed something 36 inches in width or less to fit in an armoire. The picture is pretty good for the price point but the Roku is what I really liked. Very easy to set up and love all of the channels to choose from. Sound is terrible. I went to BB to get a sound bar for it and stumbled onto the Samsung 40" KU7000. Oh boy...way better TV. 4K, an ethernet and component connection that the Insignia didn't have. I succumbed and traded the Insignia for the Samsung for 599.99. If you only want to spend 200 then go for it. You'll love the Roku.
