I wanted a smart TV with a screen larger than 32in, 1080p and that was under $250. Bestbuy beat every other retailer in my area! The fact that the TV was Roku ready was a total bonus; Roku is great and includes A LOT of free trials on lots of great channels/services. I have an Amazon Prime subscription and also use Chromecast to stream from my laptop and phone; it has worked seamlessly. Everything was very easy to set up. The quality of picture and sound are great—I've owned an Insignia TV before and was confident in its quality.

Perfect Size for my bedroom! I mainly just use cable and Netflix. Quality is great. It was important for me to make sure the TV I was looking for provided at least 1080p resolution. If you have services such as High Def Cable that provides 1080p service and you donʻt have a 1080p TV then youʻre losing out. The quality on this TV is more than great especially for the price you pay. It is easy to navigate throughout. Only thing I would love to change is the remote size. Itʻs small, but I have my Universal remote from Oceanic Time Warner cable so it worked out. I am currently on my 3rd month and so far so AWESOME!

Had to return first one because the remote didn't work. Second TV works well. Good picture and Roku is responsive. No issues yet

After using this TV for about 6 months now, I can say that it was a fine purchase. Roku was very easy to set up for me, as was the wifi connection required for it. The picture quality is very good. I liked the sound a lot as well, even though it would be nicer with a soundbar. The built-in speakers still came through crisp and clean, and I didn't have to turn the volume up to an absurd level to fill the room. All in all, this is a wonderful TV for a bedroom/dorm and it'll do everything you want it to do.

This is a great value-priced 1080p televsion with a built-in Roku. This is the second Insignia tv with a built-in Roku that I have purchased, and am extremely pleased with the functionality of both of them. The first one I bought was 4K, but since this was a replacement tv for the bedroom, 1080p was more than sufficient and I got this on sale for an unbeatable price. I don't think I will be buying any tvs in the future that don't have a built-in Roku, as long as they keep making them this way!

I was able to pick this TV for 200 bucks at the time. There was only a discount of 290 for one day. Could help my self and had to buy it. I did not really need a tv. The picture is beautiful, even better than all my HD tvs. The best part was the built in Roku. If you know anything about a Roku, then you know what the pleasure is to have a smart tv like this! I normally don't write reviews but this is one of those exception. If you can get it for less, then you know what time it is.

We bought this TV for a friend for Christmas. In conversation our friend had said she was experiencing lines across her old console TV. For years, she was paying for HD with her cable bill and not utilizing it. Her new HD TV also is a Roku TV, that she has been exploring. We brought it over and set it up for her. I believe it made her holiday. It was inexpensive in cost but it meant so much to her. The inexpensive replacement is what the holidays are about. We found great joy in making our friend's life a little better.

Wonderful smart TV. Clean, crisp picture. Easy setup and remote operation. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

This tv has a great picture, and really good color quality. Love that you can stream directly from the tv. Only downside to the Roku remote is there is no way to directly jump to another channel. You have to scroll through the channel guide to get there, which is too slow of a process. It makes you miss the huge old remotes with the number buttons. Overall though, a really good tv

This is a good price for a smart tv. The picture is good using an old cable box. The biggest downside is the way the you get to cable tv and the remote. The remote seems to not work very fast or with one push. The other problem is the remote has buttons on the side and they are where your hand goes to hold the remote to press the buttons on it.

Easy set up, geat picture and sound. Better than expected for inexpensive tv. Price was right with student discount.

Bought this for my elderly mother because it was a good value for the s size I needed. Nice picture and easy to use.

I had just purchased a used 2006 Monaco Knight class A motorhome. Among other things that needed updating was the audio visual system. I got everything I needed except the TV. I took a chance at Best Buy and found this 39 inches smart TV to replace the out of date 25 inch Aquas. Strangely it took up the exact same footprint on the outside of the frame and saved nearly 20 lbs of weight. Beautiful picture and unbelievable pictures. I couldn't be happier. (I'll add a comparison photo later.

l bought this TV because my external ROKU box stopped functioning. I wanted a smart TV but didn't want to spend a lot of money since this TV is used in a bedroom. I am pleased with the quality of the picture but the sound can be aggravating because some shows are either too loud or too low. Music tends to blare within a movie and of course commercials. I found the audio selections on the ROKU remote useless. Nonetheless, even with a few minor issues and inconveniences, for under $300 it was a good buy.

Nice picture, easy set-up. Good value. Still checking out the Roku feature but appears to be a nice little extra.

Insignia™ - 39" Class (38.5" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV Roku TV. Was worried at first buying an offbrand, but I was surprised with the picture quality and the smart TV functions. This is for a guest room and didn't want to spend alot on a TV that wouldn't be used much, but I would put this in any room after seeing what this TV can do. Can't wait till our relative's and friends use this and give us there opinion I know they will be just as surprised as we were. Great Buy

Very clear picture, love the fact that roku is already built in the tv. And last but not least the price was great

only have had for a couple of months. So far it has great color and picture. Does great for my needs. I like the smart TV it offers.
