This is a superior product at an outstanding price. This is not a toy and will require some research before fully understanding it's true capabilities. But, it's very easy to fly out of the box. If you own a GoPro this tool needs to be part of your arsenal.

Flying this drone with my 14 year old just pure fun. Very easy to assemble and control. Making selfies with GoPro and exploring places could not be possible without this beautiful piece of machine. I would strongly recommend this drone for beginners.

I have 3 of them. I enjoy to fly it. I read a lot bad about this drones. But for me I don't have any issues with that, I use it for work, wiring inspection for my electrical works. I love it.

If you already have a Go Pro, this is absolutely, hands down the best drone for the money. Make sure to re-calibrate, and take the time to adjust the limits and restrictions, and you will get the speed and maneuverability the drone is capable of...

After a lot of reading and going thru reviews i pulled the trigger and brought this Drone ! It was total no brainier to give up on this BB deal. No regrets @ all on this product !!! Very well surpasses my purpose being a beginner to Drones !

I have one of these already and it flies reasonably well. I also have an Autel XSP which is more solid and gets GPS signal where the Solo won't. This unit ordered arrived DOA it wouldn't sync the drone to the controller. Solo when it works its great, but for me it needs to much tweaking here and there. The XSP comes as a complete unit (gimbal, camera, carry case, etc) and is my drone of choice.

I bought the karma first and it got recalled. I'm so happy it did because I gave 3dr a try and was very impressed with this drone. It is faster and more durable plus 500 dollars cheaper.

It took 3DR getting out of the retail market for people to realize just how good these were. At the current price Best Buy is selling them at they are a steal.

Got as an incentive for my employees. The guy who won it loves it. Easy to learn right out of the box. The winner let many others fly at our last event. Because of the response , I have purchased another one for the next contest. TD

I love solo it's a sold build. I do recommend getting the carbon fiber blades for it. I am sad that the company is going out of business making drones.

Even though this produce has lost some support, it is open source and open hardware with an enthusiastic community! Very easy to fly and it can do so many things, it's definitely worth the buy, especially with the recent price drops

Contemplating a drone, this is a great choice! Never flew before and this was so easy to learn. The positives are too many to list but the biggest is 3DR staff. Contacted them about a part I lost and they sent a replacement for free.

I was in the market for a drone for a while before finally purchasing. I wanted something different than the phantom that everybody else had. I did my research and came across 3DR before they even announced the Solo. When they announced it, I decided right then that the Solo would be the drone I purchased. I already had a GoPro, so it was a great fit for me. I wanted something that was expandable and 3DR offered that via firmware updates. The smart shots were a huge factor in my decision to purchase this craft. 3DR unfortunately has cut their consumer market, but the enjoyment and use I still get out of this product is still there. With the low prices that you can purchase this product for now, it is a no-brainer to get one, especially if you already own a GoPro.

SOLO 3DR, has been great so far. Flight and landing has met expectations. Just need to reconcile with the current gimbal is not Hero 5 comparable.

Amazing drone that they are practically giving away at this price. This is my second Solo as I couldn't pass up that price for a second bird. Absolutely recommend this drone for others who are just beginning or seasoned pros.

The 3DR Solo has the idea right, just not top notch. Great to learn and get used to drone flying. Recommend as secondary device or for hobby.

This drone has been great! My only issue has been the go pro cutting out a couple of times. Other than that this things flys great!!

item is great, range is not so great, but I was disappointed because no best buy carries replacement blades. at all. so I return my item due to the fact best buy don't carry any accessories for a product they sell

3DRs Solo sUAS is a very capable piece of equipment. Only downside is the need to purchase a gopro camera to record anything. If you do purchase a Solo ensure you get the gimbal, it will help stabilize your shots.
