This is a great drone for a beginner like I was.. It was very easy to set up as well as fly. It is pretty cool when put in tether mode. Follow me is great when riding along the gulf down here in south Florida..

Got this drone for 299 . Can't beat the price . The only thing that sucks is that you won't be able to find spare parts in the future

3DR Solo Drone sa well designed drone not for beginners but mostly for drone hobby entusiasts as professional drone pilots. As a reduced price si great bargain specially when there are a lot of them outhere.

Excellent drone for the price– I already had one so I knew what I was getting into. They are great for beginners and depending upon what type of camera you attach, they are excellent for aerial photography.

Right out of the box and after charging the battery I was able to get started and fly around with very little instructions. The app and features really help you maintain from crashing or loosing the drone.

Having lots of fun with this. Bit of a learning curve but there are some apps you can purchase which help a lot. Nice smooth gimbal motion. No object detection so up to you to avoid tree collisions.

I ended up with three of these for spare parts. For the money these cannot be beat. Very easy to fly and a great simulator.

This is simply an awesome device of modern technology.

I am still figuring out all this drone can do If you are careful and plan your shots this drone can give you very professional looking results. I hope they continue to support it It's a great drone

Fantastic drone, and I would buy again-this thing is sick! This is mainly for getting great shots, if you want a drone that is easier to fly and more "main stream" go with the Karma/mavic/phantom 3/4

For the money I paid this is the best drone on the market. DJI took many of it's current features from this drone. Also has no flight restrictions like the DJI models have. It will warn you of the area you are in but will not prevent you from lift off. Good range, good battery life, solid controls and super feature rich if you own a GoPro. Too bad they are out of business (Also a result of another major drone companys business practices. Not that they did anything wrong, but they did intentionally crash the market prices to make this model not profitable.) If you can still find this at Best Buy then pick one up. It's definitely worth it.

Have only used it a couple of times but have really enjoyed it. It is so easy to fly. Looking forward to many more outings.

I do not like the fact that this drone is now not covered by the company that built , wish I had know that before I purchased. I also notice the price has dropped quite a few times , The part where you have to buy a Gopro CAMREA was also shocking and also if you want to use the camera to the fullest, you need to,buy a good gimbal , I do not like the idea that this was not explained before buying ,

Don't think you will find a drone around that even comes close to this for the price you spend. I think it's flight capability is right there with the phantom if not better. I do recommend replacing the transmitter antenna's. It's also very easy to mount a 360 camera to and get some interesting shots. Only downfall is might be lack of product support soon so buy at your own risk.

great drone very stable not bad for the price now. upgrade the antennas for longer range. battery removal is tricky press down on back part to release the battery that should help.

easy to set up. easy to fly. from taking it out of the box to flying for the first time took less than 20 minutes.

This drone is great. It is intuitive and responds well to control inputs. The smart features allow me to focus on getting the shot I want instead of trying to keep it stable in the air.

Perfect drone for great HD aerial photos. Read the manual and understand the various functions. Then there are no problems and it flies great, just as described. I enjoy BOTH of my Solos
