We bought this drone for my grandfather for Christmas. He is not the greatest with technology but he had this thing in the air in no time. It has great features the gyro is a must.

Amazingly easy, and fool proof drone. 12 yr old son learned in less than 10 minutes. Attached a GoPro 3, and watching pics and videos made this easiest best Christmas present ever

Easy to operate, easy to control. As my first drone I expected to have crashes, not the case. Lots of fun, simple to operate. I highly recommend solo for beginners and advanced.

Simple to use, comparatively cheap. Got the gimbal set for free, so that was great. Bit bulky though

I bought this for my 14 year old that has had a couple of $100 drones and I recommend not wasting your money on something that will brake and is actually harder to control.

I already had a Go Pro so this was an easy decision. For $299 with the extra battery, gimbal and propellers, I had to buy it. I had flown RC planes in the past and this is so incredibly easy compared to the planes. I can't say it's as fun, but to take aerial videos and the very little space required to take off and land, it's awesome. I've always waited less than two minutes for GPS to lock on and though the distance is limited when in heavily populated areas, the return home function works very well. Flight times are about 15 min so I bought a third battery and the backpack. Excellent value if you want a quality drone.

Very stable drone. Position hold is rock solid. Take advantage of the "discontinued item sale" - you prob won't find another drone with this performance at this price point.

It's great i love it ,i bought it for my family as a christmas present.I also got extra stuff with it.

This is my second drone after a parrot ar 1.0. It is great and I got it on sale, so what's not to like?

great precision, easy to fly, comes back to take off point when you loose signal, or when it regains signal you can retake control. amazing footage with my go pro hero 4

A nicely built drone, that is great for people that already own a GoPro camera. Lot's of fun to fly!

This little powerhouse will blow your mind. I had it for about 2 months and was only scratching the surface of it's potential. The gimbal will make you a movie recording master even if the last time you held a camera was as your little sister dance recital in '93. The shots you will get with this beast will make you the next Michael Bay of your local suburb. Shots like "Follow Me" make Solo follow you wherever you go, but you'll be used to this since you've start acquiring groupies and fans of your hollywood-esque videos. Prepare to bask in the praises of the common folk at the next neighborhood pool party.

If you are on a budget, it's better than the phantom. Buy it if you already have a Go Pro. The only negative is that they don't make them anymore for recreational use.

First time owning a drone and it's incredible! The distance on it was better than expected and with my go pro hero 3, video and picture quality comes in perfect.

We had never flown a drone and were quite nervous about spending money and seeing it literally fly away. However, this drone is very easy to use, almost dummy proof.
