Good battery for a great price. Works great with the 3DR Solo

The battery only lasts around 15 mins, so a 2nd battery is vital for any decent flight time. I got mine free as part of a deal with BestBuy and was part of the reason for buying the drone.

Pretty good battery and kept it's charge as advertised.

Since the max time in air is about 20min per battery, you want extras to film decent shots in the air. Wish it came with extra chargers but other than that, it is a MUST. Quick press of the power button will show the battery level.

The led light indicator is a real nice feature. Great looking battery! I know there has been lots of complaints about flight time. I usually fly about 15 minutes at a time and find that its plenty of time to get the shots I want.

Great Price for the Battery, Back Pack and rotors. 3DR Solo Drone awesome, but too bad it has been discontinued by 3DR. Great that it doesn't come with a camera, so you have a camera left after you stop using the Drone

It says "smart", I cannot totally verify that it is "smart," but I trust it, based on the 3DR reputation. Good luck! Don't try this battery in anything other that the Solo... it definitely doesn't work in a Ford F150.

Have only gotten a max of 18mins out of my batteries. I have 3 of them.

The original battery was one-year-old and after lots of flights finally gave it up. Bought this and now it is flying like new. I would highly recommend buying this if you're having issues with your Solo.

Since these are harder to come by, I grab them whenever I see them at my local BB. Also with the discount and specials that BB runs they're a steal! Overall a quality product that is well built, however I wish they had a slightly longer runtime than what is actually advertised.

Although 3DRobotics is out of the drone business, it doesn't mean that they didn't make a great product! Best Buy has the sole distribution of the remaining stock and get it while you can!

This is a must for the drone, the flight time is only 20 minutes or so. Getting out to a place clear enough to fly would have been a disappointment without the spare battery to swap out.

I decided to get extra batteries just because you get a flight time of around 15-20 minutes which isn't very much. I have 4 batteries total which gives me almost an hour in the air.

a backup battery (really more than one) is necessary if you are going to fly more than 20 minutes...about the realistic time a single battery will give you with a camera on board.

The flight time of Solo is about 20 minutes. Couple that with the fact there are only a limited number of recharge cycles for a battery, and you have good cause to grab a couple.

Solo is an amazing platforn for photography.Unfortunatly it's discontinued got it for 1/4 original price. Open source and being upgraded by lots of 3rd party creators.

SO i brought two solo batteries from amazon first, they did not came with orginal box which make me worry about, so i brought from Best buy and the quiltuy is very solid.
