Geek Squad installed my subs incorrectly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The installer installed my subs the wrong way. With the speakers facing the interior of the car. His reasoning was “it was the easiest way”. I did not pay for the “easiest way”, I paid for my subs to be installed in an enjoyable way. He never asked me if it was okay to install them this way, and I even made sure he’d install them the way I wanted by placing them the correct way in the car. All he would’ve had to do was mount the amp in a different location. So now I have to waste another Saturday morning to drive 30 minutes and get this fixed.

DO NOT RECOMMEND GEEK SQUAD AT NEW CENTER POINT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I scheduled an appointment to get my speakers and amp installed because I didnt have time to install it myself. had to come in 3 seperate times because they couldnt get the left rear speakers working and even then, a few days later the left rear speaker stopped working again.

Great in my other car

Still sound bad but dont want to go back to wait 3 hrs and get same results. Would not recommend even though my other car done months earlier sounds great

Kings of poor customer service

Conway Arkansas location totally screwed my car up and after 3 long visits i was sent to North Little Rock location who finally resolved issues with mess Conway location made. I have tried sending emails to manager over the locations but haven't gotten a response or anything. Wouldn't recommend Best Buy to anyone!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.its just sad at this point. 2 custom car audio installs- 1 refund, multiple blown stock speakers, 5 of 8 channels used, bluetooth hardwired even tho i asked for my stock to be troubleshooted OH and 5k later, here we are just 9 months from install and all my door speakers/tweeters are blown, I dont even use the sub i purchased from BB oh and free webroot security compromised with ransomware- my computer is also worthless

Could of handled things properly

Poor install

The rookie installer jacked it up bad and I've had to clean up his work. The amp was not grounded properly and has a lot of engine noise and the component speakers install located the crossover to close to power cables. Unfortunately BB has only a few locations setup for install anymore and they are all booked months in advance. Too hard to get back in to get things fixed.

Bad installation

I can’t get a hold of anybody in geek squad to fix this and since the corana virus I have had no directions on what to do! For over 3 months I have been calling and visiting about my total tech support and my membership is now expired and I’m left with all this expensive car audio I purchased new through Best Buy and it doesn’t work or sounds completely horrible!!

BEWARE of store personel

Had to get card issuer involved???? Took 3+ weeks before money was returned!!! Beware of managers liying to you about your resolution/situation, will obviously tell you anything to get "rid of you"!!

Not a geek of car electronics!

He has to do research before he does any install? Had my car for a good while, calls me to come back to shop and still hasn't put car back together! Not sure why he called me back...but now when I take a hard turn I lose my speakers! I don't even wanna bother taking it back to someone who doesn't know what they're doing!

Poor installation

At first it sounded great but once I started to listen really closely to my speakers I could hear static. They wired my rca cables speaker cables and power wire right next to eachother with nothing wrapping it to stop it from interfering. Everytime someone steps in my passenger seat my sound system freaks out

Installed my whole audio system

Had to go back twice to attempt to fix some speakers worked and some didn't. Maybe guy had a bad day but I had to take it to another place to have the system completely redone. It's works fine now.

Stop sending me junk mail when you owe me service

I get infuriated every time I see an email from you that isn’t about resolving this issue.

Car installation

My amp is a five channel amp i want the other two 6.5 speakers in the system. Also the amp fades in and out at times.??????? Çall me and i will bring it in for you guys to check out. Thanks! Ted

Really Bad
